MADO — Restaurant in Yalova Merkez

This MADO franchise, by the water, has the lowest quality of service and food. When you come in, you will see a bunch of very young and unprofessional waiters joking among themselves. They also seem to obsessed with playing with their mustaches and beards constantly. Something not desired in an environment where food is served. The food is not fresh. We ordered baklava and it was off. We were later told by others that since this MADO serves Arabic clientele, the staff did not pay attention to customer satisfaction. I visited twice this week, both times our order is missing something. When we got seated I asked the waiter (a young guy with glasses) to clean the table as there were coffee and food stain, he disappeared and kept avoiding our table after. Another waiter came in and took our order. Order came in missing and never brought the missing item though I asked and reminded him 2 times. Mediocre experience and not up to standards. The staff weren’t very helpful and if you don’t ask for the menu you are not given one, the staff just walks about and doesn’t do anything, doesn’t take orders, doesn’t bring plates, we managed to get the attention of a nice female staff member but otherwise, service was nonexistent and unwelcoming.
