Al Mandi & Al Madhbi House — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

While we were in Abu Dhabi, we thought of searching for some destinations for Yemeni traditional food on our way back to Dubai.

As per google Maps Bait Al-Mandi & Al Madhbi restaurant was the neares, or on our way.

We ordered one Waslah Dish and one Checken Madhbi dish.

We were expecting juicy checken and meat to be served, along with some delicious soup and salad.

We were shocked once the order was served, which somehow was never the same as shown in the menu.

The food was served very cold as it was taken out from the fredge, and the meet was hard as rock.

We were expecting that we would get the rest of the dish to be given once the full meal set is out.

We was that nobody was bringing anything else, so we asked the waiter to bring some salad, along with lime, but he said we do not reave such, as the salad plat was in front of them on the counter.

In general, the food was very stiff and hard like stone, the Waslah meet was tasteless, as you are having hospital food as hard as rubbers.

The place was unhygienic and not clean.

We are Canadian but live in Abu Dhabi and had visitors. We went to the Falcon Hospital and was looking for something fast and tasty before heading to wathba wetlands. Came across this place in the gas station. Food was excellent. The yellow rice and fish and sauces were so tasty. Chicken was a bit tough but still good. The service was excellent. People were kind and helpful. Would highly recommend for cheap good food if you don’t mind eating in a gas station....

I brought 2 quarter mandhi from this outlet in Al Shamkha. me and my family was eating but disapponted as there was small stones in the rice... u could literally bite and feel when u try to eat.. please be careful while buying it. 5/5/2020.
