Gazebo - Makani Shamkha Mall — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

Gazebo Makani Mall Abu Dhabi I Ordered the Zafrani Biryani. The Biryani needed more deeper flavor. The chicken didn't taste nice. I didn't see any whole Gram Masala. Rice were long grain but lacking in taste. It doesn't need to be to spicy or oily. The top of the rice did smell like Zafran. There were only 2 small pieces of chicken and 1 potato. Portion size was for 2 people if you had ordered more dishes otherwise only 1 person would be able to finish the Biryani. 📝 Note to Gezebo please mention on the menu as the Biryani had cashew nut, not ideal for nut allergies. Mint sauce had less salt and raita needs to be at room temperature. Hot Biryani and cold raita are not the right combination. Salad was given in a small white container with 1 slice of lemon, 2 cucumber and 2 slice onions. Will need to try more other dishes before I can recommend to family...

First time we visited the restaurant it was good and therefore the next time I took my family for a b'day treat and I repeated some of the dishes I ordered earlier like Stuffed mushroom biryani, paneer mutter mushroom curry. Unfortunately the second visit the food tasted totally different. Therefore a disappointment. Apart from these dishes we ordered tomato soup, Banarasi pulao, butter naan, cheese naan, taftan and papdi chaat. The soup was sweet as ever and most of the food lacked spice, tempering, salt and flavour. Having had an experience as such the food is inconsistent in many aspects. Ambience is good, clean...

The restaurant is very nice.... Food and service were good....the manager who treats the staff like slaves.... Acting like the owner....not at all acceptable behavior from him.... As I also from hospitality background not getting digested with this.... The person shabbir (old person) not at all fit for the position and attitudes.... We are not coming to beg.... Atleast have a courtesy for the payment he is getting from the company. Please treat ur staff and guest at least a better way.... Must say the ambiance S good...food s up-to the mark... Only needs to consider the above...
