Al Fanar Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience authentic Emirati cuisine. From the moment you step inside, you'll be greeted by a spacious dining room with private rooms and outdoor seating. The centerpiece of the room is a large tree that adds a touch of nature to the otherwise elegant decor.
We had the pleasure of dining at Al Fanar during Ramadan and opted for the four-course Iftar meal. The lamb biryani and chicken machboos were the stars of the show, but the salad and chicken/lentil soups were equally delicious. The portions were generous, and we left feeling completely satisfied.
What sets Al Fanar apart from other restaurants is its commitment to preserving Emirati culture and cuisine. The staff is knowledgeable and passionate about their food, and they go above and beyond to make sure their guests have an unforgettable experience. Ahmed helped us pick the very best dishes and drinks that gave us the most comprehensive taste of Al Ain and Emerati culture.

Read moreI m not actually rating with one star this place because of bad quality or taste of the food but because the 4.7 stars in google reviews plus the appearance as first option for restaurant in Alain is a trap for the visitors. The place is overpriced with “Dubai’s prices” when you can find restaurants with really good prices in Al Ain. When we sat the waitress offered us a small bottle of water in each one of us and then we discovered that they charged 8 aed for each one .No problem to pay for something I want to order but it’s very cheap way to take for us 8 aed with this way. 3.When we ordered a tray of mix grill ,they informed us that this is only for dinner .Then we order some oven potatoes and again they told us that they serve only during the dinner time (Offcourse nowhere in the menu mentioned this). Then we ordered hummus and they told that they don’t have (strange for an Arabic place ) .We requested something alternative to hummus like mutabal or labneh but the waitress was recommending fried calamari (not trained waitresses when people are asking for a dip to combine with the meat and from their side they are recommending seafood I really not a...
