Panda Grill: A Combination of Real Estate and Dining Services

I recently had a distressing encounter with Mr. Li, a representative of Panda Grill. Contrary to the professional standards one might expect, Mr. Li's conduct was highly inappropriate and unprofessional. He was observed pressuring a real estate agent to secure apartment deals for certain clients that came in his restaurant overnight from within the restaurant's premises. His actions escalated to making threats of negative reviews when his unreasonable demands were not met.

Furthermore, Mr. Li demonstrated a lack of professional boundaries by contacting the agent well beyond the stipulated working hours, going as far as to reach out at 1 AM despite clear refusals. This level of persistence is not only unethical but also disrespectful.

It's important to note that Panda Grill operates as both a restaurant and a real estate business, with a unique model of providing housing solutions alongside dining experiences. However, such services evidently require formal approvals from landlords, a process Mr. Li seemed to overlook in his interactions.

I would like to emphasize that conducting real estate transactions from your restaurant, Panda Grill, without a proper license is illegal in the UAE. I am fully entitled to escalate this matter to higher authorities, including lodging complaints with the local municipality and in court. I have been directed to collect funds from the reception of your restaurant, Panda Grill. It is our policy not to lease apartments through 3rd parties without verifying the clients' credentials, nor do we proceed without signed contracts and proper documentation.

Due to these unsettling experiences, I feel compelled to rate Panda Grill with one star. The behavior exhibited by your representative not only undermines the reputation of your establishment but also crosses ethical boundaries of...

Small and cozy place. Limited seats ( may be only 5 tables). Unique taste. Freshly made on orders. Expensive. Quantity is ok. Chicken fried was nice with 2 different sauce’s which were spicy and sweet, cucumber salad was ok ( was too salty for my taste), potato salad was different and was ok.Barbecue items were ok. Rice noodles bowl was ok ( included beef but was not mentioned in the menu , just mentioning for the people who don’t consume beef) Drinks are too expensive which some of them doesn’t make sense. Whiskey shot for 18aed and capriosa for 45aed ( why so much charge for 30ml of absolute vodka , sugar and lime?) made me think. Dessert was nice . Also I like the concept of sauté Lotus root.
