Al Areesh Restaurant — Restaurant in Al Shahamah

We recently visited it and decided to try their Shawarma sandwiches. Three of us ordered Shawarma, each customized to our liking. Despite our individual preferences, we shared similar feedback.

The sandwiches were quite slim and lacked the juiciness typically expected. The use of Arabic bread instead of Saj made them a bit dry and harder to swallow. Additionally, we couldn't detect any garlic sauce, which was disappointing. This may be the restaurant's unique approach to Shawarma, but it didn't align with our expectations. On a positive note, the service was commendable. The staff was friendly and attentive, contributing to a pleasant dining atmosphere. Worst lebanese food i ever had in my life of Abu Dhabi.. i placed an order of 11 meat shawarma and 2 chicken Shawarma with Falafels. After ordering i encounter from kitchen's window that they are running out of meat Shawarma I asked the sales person and they said we already have it in a tray ready to make. After 30 min we received our order in a full flash packing. When we opened the box. I was shocked to see the ultra thin Shawarma's. They have used the material of 6 into 12.. very unprofessional...

No respect to customers! I ordered 3 sandwiches & it took them 30 minutes just to come & say that they are out of bread n they'll need few minutes more! After 10 minutes more they came back & asked if they can substitute with another type of bread because they are out of gas! Thats utter disrespect and it was only 7 PM!!! They could've told that before wasting more than 40...
