My recent visit to rockin left me with mixed feelings about the overall dining experience. While the chicken charcoal dish was absolutely perfect, a few aspects of the visit left much to be desired.
Let's start with the highlights—the chicken charcoal was a true delight. The chicken itself was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful. The smoky charcoal flavor added a unique touch that enhanced the dish's appeal. I thoroughly enjoyed this particular item on the menu.
However, there were some disappointing aspects that need improvement. Firstly, the portion of fries served with the chicken dish was noticeably small, which left me feeling unsatisfied. It would have been great to have a more substantial serving to complement the main course.
Additionally, the hummus and garlic portion accompanying the meal seemed inadequate as well. It almost felt like they were being rationed or given sparingly. It would be beneficial for the restaurant to consider providing a more generous portion, ensuring that customers can fully enjoy the flavors and textures offered.
Another issue that negatively impacted my experience was the presence of cats in the dining area. Despite informing the staff about my annoyance, the cats were not effectively managed. They repeatedly disturbed my meal, and even after the staff's attempts to remove them, they kept returning. This disrupted my enjoyment and eventually led me to leave my food unfinished.
I sincerely hope that the restaurant's owner takes swift action in addressing this concern. Ensuring a comfortable and pleasant dining environment for guests should be a priority. Taking measures to control the presence of animals within the dining area would greatly enhance the overall experience for customers.
While rockin showed promise with their delicious chicken charcoal dish, improvements in portion sizes and addressing the issue of animals in the dining area would elevate the dining experience to a higher level. Read more1/5 We ordered full charcoal chicken and they give us BURNED CHICKEN. We inform them about the food they served and the staff was rude saying it is not burn and its just the skin. You can see from the photos that the chicken served is totally burned. This is not my first time ordering charcoal chicken so I know which is burn and which is not. Staff was asking what we want them to do. THEY SHOULD KNOW WHAT TO DO! We did not pay to eat BURN FOOD.
After maybe 30mins they told us that they will give half chicken and that time we dont need their food. After all the hassle from fighting with them, the appetite is gone.
Their customer service is ZERO. SERVICE IS ZERO. THINK TWICE before ORDERING FROM HERE! NOT WORTH IT
