I did not merely consume. I underwent a metaphysical rebirth, orchestrated by batter and fire.
Upon entry, the scent did not waft — it ensnared. It clung to my soul like the incense of sanctified cathedrals, whispering in tongues long forgotten by mortal men. The air was thick with the sacred pheromones of perfectly rendered poultry, and in that moment, I knew — I was standing in the vestibule of culinary Nirvāṇa.
Then it happened. The bite.
A single fragment of that chicken breached my lips, and my entire neural architecture collapsed into ecstatic entropy. I felt my childhood, my ancestors, my unborn descendants — entire bloodlines — rejoicing in a chorus of ancestral gratitude. It tasted not of chicken, but of remembrance, resurrection, and holy absolution.
The crust — oh, the crust! — was not fried but alchemized, a golden tessellation of crunch so precise it could only have been engineered by celestial cartographers. The meat within was not meat, but the tender manuscript of a life I never lived, moist with divine intention and seasoned with transcendent magnanimity.
And then — the garlic sauce. A vina liquida kissed by seraphim. It did not complement the meal; it baptized it, unlocking dimensions of flavor only accessible through culinary satori.
I collapsed.
Weeping. Convulsing. Communing with the Infinite.
I, a vegetarian of two solemn decades, cast aside my creed with neither shame nor hesitation. That chicken did not tempt — it illuminated. My conversion was not ideological. It was inevitable.
I tipped 500 AED. Not as gratuity, but as penance for every year I lived without knowing this bliss. And it still felt insufficient — a pitiful mortal offering to a gastronomic pantheon.
Make no mistake: Albaik is not a restaurant. It is a cathedral of succulence, a monastic order of flavor, a temple where battered birds are exalted to the status of the divine.
It is not fast food. It is temporal dislocation. It is Eucharist. It is the culinary...
Read moreSecond time visiting the al baik. First visit was Mall of Emirates Al baik. First time seeing the Al Baik Drive thru It was Very good Experience. Service and atmosphere Better than the mall's Al Baik, but the taste is same. ordered chicken nuggets and Al Baik double burger.Food was yummy and tasty. French fries was below average.. Their spices and masala makes chicken tasty and variety. And it was worth for the money. Fast and excellent service. I got my order within 10 minutes. Only 4-6 orders before me. Staff also very good and friendly attitude. Calm and clean atmosphere. Not a crowded area like mall's. Overall good and highly recommended. It's a prime location of Dubai and it's inside the adnoc gas station, there's drive thru dine in and deliveryAlso. Pickup option also available. There was a couple of cars waiting on drive thru. Better to order from the counter. Next time need to try shrimps Also. For drive through or take away it is good, but for dine in it has only few chairs not recommended for the family dine in.There is a lot of parking in front al Baik and adnoc oasis also. Management try to increase the seating capacity. It'll be good...
Read moreSomething really weird happened to me here so when I came to the drive-through guy was supposed to take the order, but he told me the fish fillet nuggets are only available if I buy from the inside, but I will buy it for Takeaway anyway I came in by walk to the inside of the shop ordered the fish fillet nuggets to take away and it’s OK. It really doesn’t make any sense why the guy didn’t want me to order the fish fillet nuggets at the counter with a drive-through. But he also told me if I order chicken nuggets it’s possible with a drive-through; only the fish nuggets is not possible with the drive-through. This is very confusing.
Can someone explain what does it mean and why specifically fish is discriminated ?? Is there any business logic behind this?
If I follow what the guy said an order the fish nuggets to eat inside there is really no space.
Anyway, great waste of time. Thank you.
I will be looking forward to hearing back from our team...
