We tried a few dishes here. All were executed well but the stand outs were the Dim Sum. Shitake and Edamame followed by Philidelphia and Truffle oil. The Pho was equally flavourful and satisfying. The Baos though tasty, lacked adequate dressing. We had the crispy prawn and Bang Bang chicken. We ordered udon noodles which weren't udon noodles but we were too polite to point this out. Overall?...very understated venue with good food, good portion sizes friendly service and pocket friendly prices.

Their food is great, the bao is soft and fulfilling along with the sweet potato cuts. We ordered a few dishes: buns, dimsum, tom kai soup, 5 combination tofu stir fry and nasi goreng. Parking is free and available outside the building. It could be challenging during weekend.

The vegetable dumpling is missing an element. The green curry was filled with too many vegetables and the curry was on the thicker side. So it was a bit swampy. I would score the food 6.5/10 But 3/5 because it's on the pricy side. Server very friendly.

Don’t be fooled by its simple appearances. BAO Kitchen is a beautiful gem of a restaurant.

I had their bao and dimsum offer… it was quite an experience. The shrimp har gao was plump and the wrap was light but didn’t break. Masterful work there.

My favorite was the Philadelphia Cream Cheese and Truffle Oil dim sum was a revelation. I never had anything like it and never thought of that combination but it worked. I immediately ordered takeaway.

So was the wasabi dim sum that was an interesting play on flavors and textures.

The bao had that homemade look and feel , which I loved. I had a sampling of teriyaki (easy win there), dynamite shrimp, bang bang chicken and tori katsu. All were winners in my view. The bao bun itself was light and fluffy… the way it should be.

The kitchen was overwhelmed the night I went. It took 20 minutes for the first orders to come out of the kitchen but there was a steady flow of delivery orders. That somehow told me a bit about their food quality and my first bite confirmed it. Midway through dinner the owner came and greeted me. She looked proud of her business and she has every right to.

Maybe next time I will visit on a not so busy night.

For 69 dhs… this was a steal. I definitely...

I had an amazing experience ordering from Bao Kitchen! The Pad Thai King was absolutely delicious – bursting with authentic flavors and perfectly cooked. Every bite was a delight, and the quality of the food truly exceeded my expectations.

The delivery was even earlier than expected, which was such a pleasant surprise. The driver was very professional, polite, and made the whole experience seamless.

A special mention to the manager, Mr. Khem, who manages the kitchen exceptionally well. His efforts clearly reflect in the quality and taste of the food. I really appreciate his dedication and attention to detail!

Overall, everything was fantastic – from the food to the service. Highly recommend Bao Kitchen to anyone looking for exceptional taste and reliable delivery. Can't wait to order...

Food is tasty! And after 3 bad experiences i decided to write this review, the delivery time is always double what it says, 30 mins is always 1 hour+ and if you complain they always blame the delivery driver (not fair, these poor guys out on the road are not responsible for doubling the delivery time and its not right they are blamed) the staff when you ring are dismissive and seem very experienced in complaint handling, nothing improves, never even apologise for inconvenience, i hope the owner knows how enept the team running his...
