Biryaniwalla & Co - Hamriya Port — Restaurant in Dubai

1. The ambience and vibe was amazing. Really loved how comfy it felt with my family.
2. we had ordered a couple of stuff: -zafranni mutton biryani (family size): it was a m a z i n g. It had the perfect amount of spice, not over spiced for people who have low spice- tolerance. The mutton was beautifully cooked. It was soft and juicyyyy. And I also really liked the fact that there were many visible saffron threads here and there. -mixed grill platter and chicken grill platter: the first platter consisted of 5 different types of kebabs( I.e. fish, shrimps, 2 chicken and a mutton) with a side of cilantro/mint and yogurt chutney. The mutton was my personal favourite. The shrimps were surprisingly big and well cooked. I wasn't really a fan of the chicken platter, but to each their own taste. -spicy grilled mushrooms- wouldn't really reccomend this. -signature chicken gravy and butter naan- I don't know the name of this dish since it was recommended to us. This was probably my other favourite besides the biryani. They adjust the spice according to your choice. The gravy was really creamy and flavourful. The butter naans were really tasty too.

Shout out to the manager, Alia. She was our server and was also the one who recommended us different dishes! Her attitude and professionalism was seen throughout the time she served us and we felt really comfortable...

Worst Iftar ever…..

My friends and I reserved for 6pax table for iftar buffet. They don’t know the meaning of reservation. They simply allow walk in customers to fill the seat. We were waiting for long time to find a seat. Without payment they won’t allow you to get inside. Such a reputed restaurant doesn’t have card payment and if you pay cash they don’t have change.

In every iftar buffet, they used to provide starters like dates and water on table to break the fast. Here nothing is there and nobody is helping also. There is no proper arrangement to get the food and the worst thing is we are not allowed to take the food. They will be serving limited food and we have to wait for a long time. Food serving area were too congested and crowded.

What they show in menu is not available at actual. They are not restocking the food properly and it took more than 20min.

WORST HOSPITALITY!!!

We had waited for more than 20min to get a tea from them.

I liked the food but due to bad customer service and hospitality I wouldn’t recommend anyone to visit this restaurant.

Would like to share my experience of my visit last evening (1July'2022).

1. A very positive feeling on entering this brightly lit restaurant. Unfortunately things turned out otherwise to my disappointment
2. Seating offered sadly was not one of the best.
3. We were a trio (along with my fiancée and a friend), we had to share 1 menu folder to decide on our food and beverage orders.
4. Main course for the 3 of us was bought to the table in short intervals.
5. The biryani was not what I was expecting, single plain colored rice with some meat, it did not certainly have the aroma and the presentation neither to compliment it. The bhuna gosh was surprisingly more of mugahlai styled
6. Beverages were also served in intervals at a much of a half way through our dinner and after a reminde to your service staff.
7. A group of male patrons were a noisy bunch who had no etiquette and neither did the restaurant's senior staff think that the group should be considerate to other patrons who were there to enjoy a nice dinner.
