Doner Istanbul delivered an outstanding experience that impressed me on every level—from the authentically delicious cuisine to the exceptionally high standard of service, which speaks volumes about the management. This place is a gem!

The meal itself was a culinary delight. Starting with the fresh and flavorful meze set the perfect tone for the main courses. The Ali Nazik was the undisputed highlight. The combination of smoky, velvety eggplant mash, creamy yogurt, and tender, perfectly seasoned meat was absolute perfection. Alongside that, the Shawarma was juicy, well-balanced, and completely satisfying.

To top off this incredible savory journey, I indulged in the San Sebastian Cheesecake. It was rich, creamy, and featured that iconic caramelized crust—a truly luxurious and unexpected finish that completed the feast perfectly.

Shout-out to the Leadership Beyond the amazing food, the smooth, welcoming, and attentive atmosphere is a direct reflection of the excellent management. A special commendation goes to Supervisor Shameer. The fantastic service and seamless operation clearly flow from his leadership. His commitment to creating a positive and professional environment elevates the dining experience from merely "good food" to a genuinely five-star visit.

Me and my friends visited Doner Istanbul last night and tried a variety of dishes.

While the ambience was good and the menu offers a wide variety, unfortunately, the customer service left a lot to be desired.

We ordered: Special Mixed Grill – flavorful and enjoyable Ali Nazik (meat) – the best among all, rich in taste Beyti Kebab (meat) – average, nothing exceptional Iskender Kebab (meat) – the most disappointing; it lacked authenticity and was not tasty at all.

Having tried Iskender Kebab in Turkey and at several reputed restaurants across the UAE, I can confidently say that the one which was served to us was nowhere close to the original in terms of taste, presentation, or quality.

What made the experience worse was the staff’s response when we politely raised our concern. Rather than showing any willingness to understand or correct the dish, they simply said “sorry” and moved on, which felt dismissive.

I don’t usually write negative reviews, but I hope the owners take this as constructive feedback.

With such a strong menu offering, consistency in food and a focus on genuine customer service are key to long-term success.

Absolutely the best Turkish restaurant I've ever been to! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The decor beautifully reflects Turkish culture, and the staff greeted us with genuine smiles.We started with the classic Meze platter, which was an incredible mix of flavors – the hummus and baba ganoush were particularly standout! For the main course, I ordered the lamb kebabs, and they were perfectly grilled, tender, and full of flavor. My friend had the chicken döner, and it was equally delicious, We couldn’t resist trying the baklava for dessert, and it did not disappoint.The service was attentive without being intrusive, and our drinks were refilled promptly.
