Grill Palace Restaurant — Restaurant in Dubai

Please note that I am giving a review after 5yrs of ordering from the restaurant. I know there will be issues in any restaurant for xyz reasons. But today they sent soggy food and when complained they said because of delivery it has affected the food and if I would have dined in it would be fresh. I stay exactly 5mins away from the restaurant by walk and the reason for ordering is that I cannot go for dine in for a different reason. Delivering after 40mins of ordering and giving excuses, I have ordered the same dish in the past few weeks almost 6-7 times and never had a issue. There were issues with the restaurant food and delivery but never posted any reviews about that but today due to the response of the staff made me post this. I hope the restaurant management is aware of this if not the restaurant might be at risk soon as they have increased the prices recently and not posted there new menu as well.

I recently visited and tried their shawarma, grilled chicken and Chicken Charcoal Unfortunately , my experience was less than stellar.

Shawarma: The shawarma was quite disappointing. Compared to other cafes, the portion was small and overpriced.

Grilled Chicken: The taste of the grilled chicken was just okay. They lost the crispiness by pouring sauce over the chicken, which detracted from the overall texture.

Chicken Charcoal: I ordered the Red Chilly Charcoal, but what I received was yellow charcoal, which was overwhelming with turmeric taste. This was not what I expected and added to my disappointment.

Additional Charges: I was surprised to find that they charged extra for mayonnaise and chutney, which felt unnecessary.

Dining Experience: I wouldn't recommend dining in due to the excessive noise. Additionally, the staff seemed inattentive and didn't listen to customer requests.

Overall, didn't meet my expectations, and I doubt I'll be returning...

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent order from your restaurant. When I called to place the order, I was assured that the food would be delivered within 20 minutes. However, it took an unacceptable 1 hour and 35 minutes for the food to arrive.

Even worse, the food quality was far below expectations. I had ordered Prawns Roast, but what was delivered was something resembling Manchurian with unboiled tomatoes and capsicum masala with paper plate. It was a completely different dish, and not at all what I was expecting or craving.

If you're unable to deliver on the promised time or provide the correct dish, please avoid making such commitments. We would have ordered from elsewhere if we had known about the delay and quality issues.
