Katrina Sweets & Confectionery — Restaurant in Dubai

Extremely unprofessional attitude of the staff in particular the Airport branch of Katrina sweets and confectionery. I placed an order with them yesterday morning at 10 am and finalized the order with all the details of my address, cake specifications and the payment details. Earlier I called 3 branches to make sure who can deliver to my address and they kept on transferring from one to another . After that I had confirmed with one of the staff members Ms Dianna from the Airport branch for the delivery and she told me to book the cake one day prior . They confirmed my order in the morning but gave me a call at 10 PM yesterday night saying they can’t deliver me the cake due to some delivery issues . It was an order for my daughter’s B’day celebration but the female on the line Ms Marjorie had no consideration of my situation and the trouble I will face with such a last minute cancellation, in spite she told me that they can arrange a private delivery for me with exorbitant delivery charges . I told her since it was a problem from their side they should be bearing the extra delivery charge and give me the order at the prize initially finalized but she refused outright . I would never like to ever place an order from Katrina again because no matter what’s that their cakes would be decent but their attitude is far from decent and plus let’s not forget the fact that there are multiple cake delivery options available in Dubai specially who wouldn’t trouble you so much at the...

Disappointing Experience – Beware of Cold Deliveries!

I recently ordered corndogs and a chicken puff from the Silicon Oasis branch, expecting a warm, ready-to-eat meal. Instead, I received what felt like ice-cold frozen items. In fact, when the food arrived, my maid asked if I wanted my “ice cream” now or after dinner — that’s how cold the food was!

When I called the restaurant to complain, I was surprised to hear that their standard practice is to deliver food chilled unless you specifically ask for it to be hot. This is not mentioned anywhere in the menu or the ordering process, leaving customers in the dark.

If I wanted frozen snacks, I would have gone to the grocery store. I paid for a freshly prepared meal, not something that feels like it just came out of a deep freezer.

This experience was disappointing and unprofessional. I won’t be ordering from here again, and I suggest you think twice...
