We are loyal Kokoro customers and often go to the Alserkal branch where the service is always respectful and welcoming. Unfortunately, our experience at the Nad Al Sheba branch was very disappointing.

Right after we finished our meal (over 800 AED), a staff member kept reminding us to pay in a way that felt rushed. Then, very loudly and in front of other diners, he asked us to leave the table because of a waiting list. It was embarrassing and felt like we were being kicked out.

What made it even worse was that there were other people who had been sitting there before us, and he didn’t say anything to them — it felt very unfair and inconsistent.

When we explained that we didn’t appreciate how the situation was handled, instead of apologizing, he rudely said, “There is CCTV, and you stayed more than 45 minutes,” as if trying to justify the way he embarrassed us, without any empathy or professionalism. For the record, we were there for less than an hour.

This kind of service is unacceptable, especially compared to the excellent experience we always have at the Alserkal branch. I hope the management at Nad Al Sheba takes this feedback seriously and works on improving their...
