Sometimes it is necessary to get frank feedback. I appreciate the artistic feel they are trying to portray. It's a little bit overwhelming for me, maybe it's the loud music and lights. The food was hit or miss.
The burata was superb. The Arabic bread that compliments it was satisfying, the rise goes well with the creamy cheese. That by itself deserves a star. But it goes steeply downhill from there. The maisan burger, which is their main dish, is basically junkfood. My stomach feels the way it does now only when I eat junkfood. I know it's junkfood because I don't eat any of these McDonalds', and last time I tried I regretted. The disaster was when the waiter assured me they use real "Cheddar" cheese when in fact it is cheese product. The wagyu which is a total fad and a waste of money was a sad dry piece of rubbery protein sitting between supermarket buns. I thankfully didn't get the sauce. I removed what I was able to and barely ate half. The lame thing is out of courtesy to the cooks I ordered everything at once since they are closing kitchen. They brought the churos which we ordered with the burger! I understand that there is chicken and waffle dishes, but never burger and churos. It might work if they didn't identify it as a dessert in the menu, hey why not have a little churo with your burger. No joke. Of course we didn't eat the churos and they didn't charge us for it when I demanded that. They insisted on us taking it for takeaway but we didn't eat it. My friend had a bite and didn't like it. Maybe its because it was cooled, I can't judge. Im not trying to be too harsh, I'm being objective. If you are still reading this, my final say is the following. If you like junkfood, you wouldn't mind. If you love food, understand food, have a developed palate, and appreciate finding "gems", then only go there if you have no reservations about what I mentioned above. I really wish the restaurant the best and hope they can improve. I don't own the place so I cannot dictate how they can do that, I see that they care from the way they have furnished the place and enchalla they succeed. 1 stars don't destroy winners, it makes them stronger! Read moreThe atmosphere and ambiance here are truly the highlight. It’s outdoors, lush with greenery, fresh-smelling, and has a chill vibe that sets a great tone for a relaxed outing. The staff are friendly, but unfortunately, not very reactive, which really dampened the experience.
As for the breakfast experience, it was, unfortunately, one of the worst we’ve had in a while. The drinks were a major letdown. When we ordered coffee, the staff informed us that it would take 10 minutes because their coffee machine was malfunctioning. Surprisingly, they brought the coffee out just two minutes later, which kind of explained the poor quality. The americano was incredibly watered down, tasting more like flavored water. When I highlighted this, they didn’t take any action—just took the coffee away and brought back the same exact one, which felt careless and frustrating.
The matcha was similarly disappointing—poorly prepared, watered down, and lacking any real flavor. Even the orange juice was off; it tasted fizzy, almost as if it had gone bad. We raised these concerns multiple times, but the staff didn’t respond or take any meaningful action. They just listened, took the drinks away, and brought them back without any explanation or improvement.
The food was slightly better. The eggs benedict was okay—nothing to write home about—with a “harissa hollandaise” that was more like spicy foam, though still passable (7/10). The scramble burger was enjoyable and well-flavored (8/10), but it was served completely on its own with no sides, and there wasn’t even an option to add any when ordering.
Overall, while the setting is beautiful, the poor drink quality, lack of attentiveness from the staff, and strange service left us disappointed. I can’t say I’d recommend this place...
Read moreTo be honest, it was quiet a disappointing experience (will give them the benefit of the doubt that it was the weekend and the place was on full capacity) However the place is not ready to serve you when it's a full house.
We were here for a brunch on Saturday (arrived 1:35 PM. We were seated 15 mins after as the place was full, which is totally understandable.
However the service is relatively slow, this applies to the waiters and kitchen. For example: it took the waiters 30 to 35 mins to clean the table. after we waited for an additional 20 minutes for someone to get the order. Then we waited for 90 mins mins to get the order which was 1 ice coffee and 2 Avocado toasts) Surprisingly the food was never served, waiter kept on saying 5 more minutes, 10 more minutes and those kind pf excuses. The service was bad to the extent that I went to get the bottle or water myself as I can see that the waiters were overwhelmed. Unfortunately we stayed for approximately 2 hours without being served except the water I got myself and the ice coffee which was served 30 mins after placing the order.
On another note, the greenery of the place is nice however the venue is not well aerated and cannot be qualified as an outdoor area as everything is covered. Reason for which I had to step out of the place several times to get some fresh air.
My overall experience was not good, and definitely not worth the wait or the time .. I am sure there is a lot of improvements that can...
