My Delightful Experience at Waqt Al Mandi Al Mizhar, Oud Al Muteena near Muhaisina of Dubai
From the moment I stepped inside Waqt Al Mandi, I am welcomed with a warm and elegant ambience. The interior is simple yet inviting, with neat wooden finishes and a calm atmosphere that makes it a perfect spot for both families and friends.
The menu is extensive and diverse, offering a wide range of traditional and fusion dishes. I tried Chicken Mandi and Harees this time . They were outstanding – full of flavor, fresh ingredients, and perfectly cooked which is literally finger licking experience. All menu items are carefully cooked by native chefs and ingredients are fully original, unaltered. Spices are excelled in quality and aroma. Each dish is prepared with care and offers generous portions, making it great value for money.
Service is quick, professional, and attentive. The staff are polite and ensure that customers feel comfortable throughout their dining experience, especially the loquacious manager Mr. Ali who treats customers like invitees of grand party. Prices are also very reasonable, considering the quality and portion sizes. Natives and residents are eager and place a lot of orders on festive occasions like Eid ul Fitr and Eid ul Azha . They prefer this restaurant for authentic Arabic food on family parties and functions. At the time of Holy Month of Ramadan bunches of platters of kharoofs and mandis with baked lambs placed in center of platter, were ordered here. I could see platters are arranged in racks.
Another highlight is the convenience – they offer home delivery and through online aggregators ,which makes it easy to enjoy their dishes from home as well.
Overall, Waqt Al Mandi is not just about food; it’s about enjoying authentic variety of flavors in a welcoming environment. Highly recommended if you’re in Dubai and looking for a mix of traditional charm and delicious meals.

The restaurant has a cosy setting with majlis-style seating as well as the usual tables with individual majlis cubicles for families. The salad is great and is served with olives which are rare to spot these days. The Harees was served piping hot and has a good balance of flavor. The star attraction was a mix mandi with a full chicken and half a lamb cooked to perfection with a side of soup, red, and green salsa. The rice was lush with fried onions, lentils, raisins and grilled peppers and potatoes. The Haneeth was tender and easily came apart in your fingers. One fantastic addition was that the spices used to cook the chicken were tandoori, giving it a good kick and aroma. Following our meal we had the sweet kunafa and were served with complimentary dates, Arabic coffee and Sulaimani tea. Will definifely...
