Zaatar w Zeit - Mira Town Center — Restaurant in Dubai

I'd rate my experience today zero stars if i could. Zaatar w Zeit is a great brand but their operations in Mira branch is nothing short of a disaster. From the cleanness of the seats, service, food quality to the level of communication of the team in the branch all of it is extremely poor. I had to ask for the food 3 times before they informed me that my son's order is out of stock 30mins after waiting. No cutlery was served to the table. The food quality was below average. The shawerma wrap had half a kilo of garlic in it. My fries took more than 49mims to be served. Manousha cheese and zaatar came mixed despite us informing the waiter specifically we need it half and half separate. The shift manager doesn't know how to manage complaints or issues. Everything she said was irrelevant to me. At the end we got the bill including the item that was not available and not served. The leadership of this restaurant chain needs to tackle the operations and service challenges they have in this branch. Being a branch in a residential community your customers are regulars. We loved Zaatar w Zeit in Mira Town Center Food - The food was very nice and to the point. There were very good portions and savory. Service - They were very patient with us and very friendly, especially the manager, who, after he saw my daughter happy and dancing to the music (and making me laugh in the process), stopped by to small talk with us, which was very nice. Atmosphere - The place was very nice but average, and the music was a mix of modern Arabic and English music. It wasn't too loud or too soft, just perfect to enhance the atmosphere. I have been a fan of Zaatar w Zeit and their food for a few years now. And I absolutely love the branch at Mira Town Center.

Afternoons and weekday evenings are perfect if you are looking for some quiet time. In fact, I love doing my Arabic homework here. The staff are so friendly and amazing, be it the manager Mohammed or the servers Joseph and Hsu. They always keep me posted about new changes to the menu and point out exciting vegetarian options.
