Zaatar w Zeit - The Springs Souq — Restaurant in Dubai

We went for a dinner with 10 persons. We came and want sit outside the terrace. The stuffs told us that we can't sit outside because they didn't clean the tables and the light is off. They want us to sit inside on to different tables because outside it's not ready. After big argument I said we are here all together we don't want sit separately. Then they open the balcony but the one guy was angry and said that now he have to clean the table wich was really dusty. We told them how nice it is outside the weather is getting better of they would do more afford then the restaurant would be full. Then the second this was when the guy came to put plates...he sow that we are 10 persons but he bring only 4 plates and I asked him if we need do share the 4. His answer was he will bring it later. After a while he came back with the other 6 but only with 4 forks no knife nothing. He not put even the plates to each person in front. He just give if on the side Really the restaurant management should control what they are doing there otherwise soon it...

If you need a place to eat within Springs Souq this is a mid level location. I would say the waiters are at minimum level (not really looking much after you, not really capable to take an order efficiently and fast, probably trying to repeat your order 3 times if you go a bit off script). Food is just fine, nothing special nothing bad, average would do. Possibly the upside is that price is affordable compared with other places. In my view a place I will not repeat because I think there are better curated options within the mall, but I also know that this mall hasn't got the biggest profitability in town, so it means that places struggle to get investment from their operators in general. So that's it: if you are in a rush to eat something, the place will do, but if you have some time and care about tasty well prepared and delivered,... maybe look for...

The place and service are good. The food was mod to low and over priced for the quality you receive. I had chicken tender kids meal for my kid. It was served brown (amost burned) the chicken was not tender at all. It was hard and my kid couldn't complete it. The meal came with fries and it was good and fresh apples juice which my kid liked. I ordered the Angus burger, it was disappointing and over priced(44AED). The size was very small compared the with the capture in menu. The beef pattie was not big enough and it was filled with ketchup and mayonnaise. I felt bad after eating it. I ordered a small bottle of water and it was for 8AED, well it's just a small bottle of water I mean I don't care imported from Lebanon or anywhere else.
