The Vegetable Cream Soup was smooth and comforting. Decent Biriyani choices in menu. Was expecting few of the dishes to be pre prepared (how else does slow cooked work?), But realized it was mostly cooked to order. Tried Hyderabadi and Kolkata biriyani, both were good. However someone who has had extensive prior experience with both type would quickly get into how the versions served here were way further than original. It almost felt like decent attempt, but just not there. Generally always found that Dum cooked dishes are served at table by undoing the top and helping a diner with the food. Here you are left with cutlery and freshly made biriyani, for people not knowing what to do, It's just different (good or bad not sure). We had an extremely disappointing experience at Biryani Junction. After placing our order, which included the main course Biryani, we waited 45 minutes just for a masala papad and appetizer. Following that, we waited over 90 minutes for the Biryani, only to be told by the waiter that the manager forgot to include it in our order. The manager apologized and asked us to wait another 20 minutes, which was unacceptable at that point. This experience was incredibly frustrating, especially at a restaurant that specializes in Biryani and named "Biryani Junction." Such negligence and lack of coordination are unacceptable.
