Lovely place to enjoy a coffee and cake, or a full blown meal if you're hungrier. You enter into a large, high ceiling hall, with most of the tables in neat rows with seating that matches the surroundings. To the left is a very large fire place, and we were lucky enough to sit here in a couple of comfortable armchairs. Nice open plan resteraunt in what looks like the old kitchens at Kedlaston hall ... also cozy side room which feels warmer. Old style decor with copper kitchen ware on display. Find a table Order at the till and wait for your food and drink. Coffe tea and soft drinks, cakes snacks and meals. Worth a visit ... especially the savory cream scones. Toilets close by and outside tables...

Glorious sunny day so sitting outside for a coffee, overlooking the lake and bridge was very pleasant. After a short walk we returned, this time to a table in the shade, for lunch. Easy to order and a short wait until the food was delivered. Another lovely experience; wonderful views, relatively cool and good food - and the company of our friends. Excellent morning /...
