An excellent pub, set in beautiful Kent Countryside. Whether sitting outside or in you'll have a great view. The pub has a lovely welcoming atmosphere and lots of traditional character. The staff are also very helpful and friendly.

As this is a gastro pub I sampled some lunch and I'm glad I did. The food really was superb from start to finish. I had a scotch egg to start, followed by a Ham Ploughman's and had just enough room for Eton Mess as a dessert.

The pub caters for families, couples and everything in between. Despite social distancing being in place, it felt relatively normal and relaxed. There was the usual hand sanitiser on entry, marking on the floor and a track and trace form to fill in but thats normal these days.

Overall I would recommend this pub to anyone, whether going for a drink or for something to eat. If you can though definitely try the food.

I liked it so much myself and my wife are going back for Sunday...

Just had an amazing stay highly recommend very friendly welcome even personally taken to our room.

The room had everything you needed for a comfortable stay the welcome water and beer was a lovely touch along with a variety of complementary teas and coffee.

We had a lovely meal in the pub and there was so much food which was delicious.

We needed a taxi and the team sorted that for us.

We missed breakfast on the Sunday morning our fault too much indulgence on Saturday evening. However we were offered sausage Sandwiches after the breakfast service had finished which was totally above and beyond great service and very rarely you find a place that would offer this exceptional service.

We will definitely return as we felt very well looked after. Thank you for making...

My partner and I stayed here whilst walking the pilgrim way and were blown away!

We were not sure what to expect as the location is a little remote, but the service was impeccable and the standard of our room in the guesthouse was amazing. Pristine furnishings, super comfy bed, smart tv, complimentary drinks, USB chargers in all the sockets, lovely toiletries and teas and coffees. We can also highly recommended the breakfast!

The team took great care of us and were able to accommodate our late check in (which was much appreciated after a long day of walking!). Watching the sun set in the evening with a pint was the best feeling....

A decent, traditional, British pub in Charing Heath, just off the A20 on a junction between two roads. I pulled in around 2:30, rushing in from the rain, but there was still food available. As it was getting on, we just had the light bites. The place was virtually deserted, with just one other group in the large pub interior. The service was friendly and fast, the food and drink very reasonable (although the main meals looked a bit pricey, coming out at about £17 a time). Still, a pleasant place to grab a quick bite around lunch time. It looks like they also have a few rooms above the pub and there's plenty of parking too.

Popped in here late morning for a coffee when on a cycle ride. Good coffee, nice out door seating area and the inside looked nice. Got chatting to a couple of locals and everyone seemed very friendly. Might well return for a more serious visit !
