We were greeted with a huff when we walked in because we didn’t have a reservation however, the restaurant was almost empty as it’s located closely to the main road. The main waitress didn’t even bother mentioning that the card machine wasn’t working when we came in especially since the restaurant has crazy expensive prices including 10 chicken nuggets for £15!

One of the dishes we ordered wasn’t cooked & another had a hair on it so when we asked for an exchange, the waitress had a whole discussion in front of us with other employees for a long time before agreeing which was very awkward. We swapped the uncooked dish which was around £7 for nuggets (£15) without being told of the price difference. Their hygiene rating is 3 which is disappointing but I can see why after the hair incident & considering how the waitresses pick their noses whenever.

The whole time eating was uncomfortable & made us feel like we were being watched so we decided to finish our food quickly & decided to leave. Once we received the bill, the waitress demanded that our card was faulty time & time again after accepting her machine wasn’t working bc of wifi issues & then she demanded us of cash. Our total came to £130 (despite us sharing dishes because of the expensive prices) which of course nobody carries around expecting a simple meal out to come to. She told us to go to the ATM outside but the charge is £2 to use it. We explained that we shouldn’t have to pay extra since it’s a fault on their side that their equipment isn’t working which then she slammed £2 onto the table & stomped off while murmuring! A very unmannered & insulting action. Did I forget to mention that the service charge was £12? Which is a whole lot of nonsense because we didn’t appreciate all the employees ganging up talking about us in front of us with evil stares so what kind of a service do you call that? Especially after all the inconvenience caused & rude behaviour nobody would want to pay that. So we asked if we could speak to the boss who she called on the phone & he said that we don’t have to pay the service charge. Despite this she still was rude & was making a fuss while tearing up the old bill & scrunching it up so close to our faces very harshly. We used the ATM to get cash as the bill was still very high (even with the reduction) to which she had the nerve to start another argument & came to get her £2 back which made no sense bc we still had to use the ATM which still charged us.

As we were leaving with kids following behind us, she said how she hopes we never come back & said the word ‘idiots’ thinking that the adults didn’t hear her. This when another argument started because of course this is verbal assault towards a customer which breaks her contractual duty. We were exclaiming that we would call the police because we shouldn’t be treated like this & there was no need for her to be like this especially as we were packing up & leaving. It gets more shocking when she started boasting that her uncle is the boss & threatened us because she is the manger but she certainly doesn’t have the qualifications to be a manager by the seems of it. Other employees gathered around to argue...

Unfortunately our experience here was not only extremely poor but almost reached to a point in which we would have called the police. The main waitress working at the Restaurant is the culprit. From the very outset, she was very rude and demeaning. She greeted us by telling us that we should have reserved before coming, even though the restaurant was almost entirely empty. She made us feel that we were a burden to her and the restaurant from the very beginning. We ordered a lot of food including one dish which we found a hair inside and another which was not cooked (Kalamar). When we requested an exchange, she seemed very reluctant and debated it with the rest of the staff in front of us for a long time making us feel like we had committed a crime. The Kalamar which is a starter dish costing £6.50 was replaced with 10 chicken nuggets costing £14.50 without informing us. Yes that's right we were charged £14.50 for 10 nuggets! If this was not enough, we were presented with a large bill that included a 10% service charge. At the point of payment, the waitress insisted that our payment card was faulty. Finally, she claimed that they had internet issues and that we would have to pay a £130 bill in cash. We then asked to speak with the manager who she called up on her phone. The manager agreed to remove the service charge if we paid in cash which we agreed to do. However, the waitress became angry with this and even more rude towards us. As we were leaving, she remarked that she was glad if we did not return to the restaurant and muttered 'Idiots' in front of our children. Upon hearing this we told her that we would complain to the manager, to which she boasted that the 'manager was her uncle'.

We have never experienced such bad behaviour at a Restaurant and certainly did consider calling the police. It totally ruined our eve and there is certainly no way that we would ever return or recommend this place due to the behaviour of this waitress. We would not give any stars if possible.

If I was the manager, I would want to immediately look at reprimanding this waitress and using the disciplinary procedure, before any more...

I’ve never been so insulted in my life! The fact that we were on the verge of calling the police after such an experience, witnessing a crime & being treated like that. I would rate it no stars if it was an option. I have read other reviews which are extremely similar to ours which is absolutely crazy that they treat other customers like this & not just us.

Generally speaking though the service was beyond bad and couldn’t be worse, the price was unjustifiable even if the food was out of this world which it certainly wasn’t. Such a waste of money & it’s funny how they pull off the prices like that! Communication was poor since they didn’t speak English very well even though we had patience & didn’t mind that much but she seems to know the word ‘idiot’ very well & to call her customers that as a manager! The rudeness ruined our evening and we’ll definitely won’t return and I don’t suggest anyone does.

After coming home & reading reviews with similar experiences, I definitely regret not calling the police as we could’ve easily pressed charges with many offences for her to learn her lesson so she doesn’t think she can get away with this behaviour all the time to anyone. It seems like they play the card machine trick pretty often too which is very dodgy. This is bc it seems like they do it pretty often from the reviews & she has a duty to tell us when we walked in instead of giving us rude attitude & a lecture on reservations as if they had many customers. All in all it was absolutely disgusting especially to top it off with religious...

Year's ago I popped in for a takeaway vegetarian pizza while my car was charging and vowed to come back for a meal. Well I wasn't disappointed my wife had the special kebab & I had the Sebzeli kebab (vegetarian). We got a side of chips due to a mix up in our reading of the menu but the benefit was having proper chip shop chips. Both were very nice and the portion is large enough for us to ask for a doggy bag for the first time ever. I found room for a Tiramisu which was large enough for two and a bargain at the price these days. It tasted 😋 great. It was very cold outside and a bit chilled inside which I think is due to the ventilation system for the open kitchen area. Nothing to put me off but a note to dress warmly.

A hidden gem 💎 The service was impeccable, taken care of from the moment I stepped inside, seated and menu provided, drinks were ice cold. The food is exquisite 👌 Well seasoned lamb and chicken, the salad was well prepared and the flat bread was warm and delicious. The accompanying chili and garlic sauces were perfect, not too hot nor overpowering. Top tier dining experience, will certainly be coming back.

I stopped off to charge an electric car and popped over for a quick bite. I had no idea what to expect, but I was quickly blown away by Cappadocia had to offer. The food was exceptional and the portions generous without being overwhelming. Even though I normally live in the Middle East, I would definitely say this is some of the best Turkish food I have had for a long long time.
