We went for Christmas Lunch today with friends. It was amazing the food was so delicious, we had a home made prawn cocktail to start which was so tasty then it was a choice of turkey or pork some of us had pork and our other friends had turkey both just melted in your mouth these were served with roast and mashed potatoes, roast parsnips pugs in blankets, stuffing ball, peas carrots, sprouts and the most amazing broccoli and cauliflower cheese and not forgetting the home made gravy. Bet had home made trifle and Geoff had christmas pudding and sauce plus mince pies but we were all too full. We have gone for a few years for our Christmas lunch because it is so lovely. Thanks to Janet and her team for a lovely time everyone is just so friendly. Anyone one who hadn't visited the tpot cafe you must it's wonderful tasty home cooked...
Read moreWe were unfamiliar with the area, living in Sheffield but we popped in to see if they did a vegetarian breakfast. It is probably the best veggie breakfast I have had since moving back to Sheffield a year ago. Vegetarian sausages were amazing and breakfast did not taste greasy at all. Also a really good cuppa in a decent sized pot. Staff were very welcoming and asked further about our dietary requirements to make sure they weren't going to give us something we were intolerant to which gave us confidence. They are obviously very popular with repeat customers as they greeted many of the other customers by name. Think we will have to find an excuse...
