Nice little cafe with decent selection on the menu including some local produce. Seems to be popular with pensioners and cyclists - it could well get messy if both groups turned up together. My money would be on pensioners as those lycra glad fellas legs would likely nap like twigs under force of a walking stick. Full breakfast are particularly good and are served til lunchtime. Also had a club sandwich which was served with a fired egg and salad for £8.95. They do try and go that extra mile with presentation which isn’t always case in cafes or pubs. They also do good line in cakes. Could do with extra seating outside but it is only a small place and shares parking with the Garden Centre. Driveway could do with sorting as has loads of pot-holes which could cause issues especially for older clientele in small cars.

Not bad. Warm and doesn’t smell of greasy fry. Bit pricey compared with some other independents. Nicer by far than big garden centres around the area. Service rather slow but friendly. I don’t have a dog but love to meet other people’s.

Just an excellent cafe, great quality food served all day long. One of the best breakfasts you can get for miles and burgers to die for. This little cafe is disability friendly and a good place for families too.

Great coffee and great service given that it was Sunday lunch time and Father's day. The young lady that served me was very polite and efficient (blond with lashes) My problem with the atmosphere was related to another customer and was nothing that the staff could have resolved. Other customers got up and left as soon as they'd finished their food/drinks as it was quite repulsive whilst eating/drinking. Absolutely not the fault of the venue and something that I've never experienced before. Just some feedback and please don't take this as a negative because if you're not a female cyclist you won't know. Could you please put a hook in your ladies bathroom? The lady cyclists amongst us who wear bibshorts need somewhere to hang our jerseys when we use...

Since re-opening after lockdown the menu has changed somewhat and the prices have increased but not hugely. Overall the value and service is still good, however, the reason for the 3 star review is the opening hours. I arrived with my son after a brisk 20min bike ride to get a drink only to be told food and drink had stopped being served. The sign and website state that the cafe is open until 3pm and it was only 2.45pm. Stopping service early, especially food is totally understandable but it should be clearly noted. I expect to be told 'no hotfood after...' but a cup of tea/coffee or a soft drink shoukdbe availble in the stated opening hours. To avoid wasting your time it's probably best to assume that you need to arrive 30mins before the stated...
