Let me tell you what i have experienced. I visited half an hour before closure to collect my preordered takeaway. Order was 3 chicken biriyani, one beef curry and 4 paratta. They haven't parcelled me chicken curry in the first place. Paratta was inedible as it was over fried. Chicken biriyani was horrible as well. When asked for a bill they declined and gave me a scribbled paper like it was all planned... They knew i was from a different town and i ended up with worst restaurant experience. I will attach the scribble along. Please never break someones trust knowingly when you serve food

Overall OK food, no one dish stood out, have had much better. Superior options in area. Staff and restaurant nice, positives end there. Certain flavours were odd when eating and kept coming back as though they were from artificial sources. Especially true of the tandoori meats, I recognise smoke flavouring. Nothing seemed authentic, disappointed. Left craving better Indian food. A real shame, I live nearby. Won't be returning unless I hear it's improved/ under new management.

i ordered lamb biryani they gave me fried rice and one bowl vegetable curry, it looks like sambar. when i told them that it is not biryani, he said this how we make biryani later i came to know after a good conversation that they are from Bangladesh, basically you cant expect anything in Indian style..

I do not recommend ordering a takeaway, my wife has food poisoning, we ordered a takeaway yesterday from this Indian restaurant, very polite organised people, ordered our bits and bobs, went away came back 15 minutes later, our food was ready, got home, dished it up, food looked okay, I had the chicken tikka masala and my wife had some duck thing, itself my food looked okay, very watery and very spicy, (currently sitting on the toilet writing this review), my wife’s duck thing she had was very very dry and it just looked like mush, she ate about half of it and left the rest, we ordered some Bombay potatoes, again they looked nice, very watery, way way too many onions, and spicy as hell, anyway I suppose they are okay to eat as every Indian restaurant is different in preparing, we ordered a few other bits but if I’m honest, for what we paid, It was just not worth it, I feel like it was prepared very rushly, anyway, me and my wife has woke up this morning, she sicking up everything as I write this and I’m currently on the toilet with a very very sore bum, everything is literally coming out from last week, all jokes aside, I will need to take my wife to the doctors perhaps hospital if it gets any worse, will not be ordering from this place again, it was the first time we ordered...

As part of my curry tour of Basildon and the surround area, my interest has brought me here to the area of fryerns. Not renowned for being the place to go but happy to give it a look in. On arrival the restaurant was clean, tidy, tables well dressed and staff looking professional. Was very accomodating and did not seat us close to the door to make the restaurant look busy. Kingfisher on draught is always a plus for me, as much as I like cobra, a curry is a curry if kingfisher is served. Menu is well populated with the usual arrangement of dishes plus a few additional specials that looked appetising. Very rarely do I see duck on the menu and so that was the route for this evening. Poppadoms are fresh as were the sauces, started cooked to perfection though were big portion, would ideally suit the more hungry patrons but not a complaint at all. Main courses were served promptly and cooked exactly as required. The chef seem to take pride in the dishes and my dining partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Washed down with a digestif. The evening was extremely pleasant and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wishing to have a good night out....

Have used the coriander for quite a few years now but tonight's takeaway was the worst Indian I have ever had. Not sure if you have different chefs since pandemic but since then the portions have got smaller and the prices are dearer tonight's chicken biryani was so watery it was pretty inedible we ordered 2 chicken tikka masala's only 1 arrived and had to go back to collect the other so other food was cold by the time we all sat down to eat as for the chicken tikka masala the first one we already had was thick in texture of how you expect a tikka masala but the next one was like it was swimming in cheap tomato sauce and for the prices you are now charging I think the quality should be a lot better the veg curry used to have big chunks of potato in but now just peas and carrots and onion. So all in all a waste of...
