KFC Markham Moor - A1 North Services — Restaurant in Bassetlaw

I'll not post this as a single visit and review, instead I'll base this on our last 3 times.

Let me start by saying 2 out of the 3 visits we never even placed an order including when we called in at 6.30 pm this evening (Sun 22/12/24).

Tried to order one of the family meals, low and behold a 40 minute wait on the boneless strips as apparently they needed to be defrosted and then cooked!!

Let me get this right, a fast food takeaway with a 40 minute wait for quick and easy to cook food which I could grab straight out of my freezer at home and have cooked in less than 20 minutes. How unprepared is this KFC that they've failed to suspect people may come in to buy chicken, what's the chances!!

That's the 2nd time in a matter of months we've tried to order from here but foods not available.

As for the food, last time the quality wasn't great but that was a few months back so thought we would try again in case somethings changed.

The fact remains, it's the poorest run kfc we've ever visited, most staff are un organised and barely care (can't vouch for all but certainly most of the ones we've met).

I'm surprised the place is even still open.

Management, if you read this, get a grip, start motivating your staff and start to pre-plan for custom, it's ridiculous that you can't cater for...

arrived at the restaurant planning to use the drive thru, to which was unavailable so we proceeded inside. upon entry there was max 2 people to place orders in the queue before us, it took nearly over 20 minutes for them to be served leading to us a few minutes later. once it was our turn to be served, we was greeted with someone who clearly just did not want to work there, now i could understand this, but that doesn’t account for the terrible customer service we received, throughout our order (two different box meals) we was told along with other customers ahead of us that there would be a wait on food as they was shutting things down due to closing soon and that we could only order for takeaway as they was clearing people out of the restaurant. bearing mind this was just after 8pm and the store states it does not shut until 10pm - i think 2 hours is unacceptable to begin to shut things down and deny customers food and explaining waits. after nearly another 15 minutes of waiting for our food, we received the wrong drinks & we had main items missing from our box meals. overall, miserable customer service and unreliable...
