Had no ice on a warm day which is completely understandable. I never write reviews, like this is probably the second time in my life I’ve written a Google review. So you know it had to have been bad. Always do a long walk around Sutton park and never stop at Bistro… fancied a coffee so went in. But I will never be coming here again just because of the customer service. I’ve worked as a barista, in cafes, as cabin crew, I’ve worked in business, first class, bars, restaurants, every customer service setting possible really and the service recovery was utterly terrible. I’m not asking for you to put a napkin on my lap and call me ‘mam, but a little more respect for customers. I was standing waiting to be served waiting for the girl to finish a conversation, which is whatever. But didn’t call me over to be served but glanced at me not saying a thing. Just looked at me vacantly with a sour face. I say hello in polite manner which wasn’t really reciprocated. Then after being told there’s no ice, she could tell I’m disappointed but looks at me with some ‘mean girl’ look smirking and says nothing. Obviously it’s not the end of the world, I know that, but I felt so small by the way she was looking at me. Doesn’t offer me an alternative which I probably would have taken her up on, but didn’t like her attitude so wasn’t going to bother in the end. Just so rude and childish. Please have words as I’ll be sharing my experience with...

Small but very good. Serves hot food, including breakfasts, typical drinks, some cakes and ices, all ordered from a counter at their small kitchen. They also sell dog treats and freshly cooked dog sausages. There are a few bowls of water for dogs spread among the outside tables. This all makes it popular with dog walkers. No dogs allowed at the inside tables, although dogs can go in with you while ordering. Service is always very good, everything that needs to be prepared is delivered to your table. Take away hot drinks can be ordered; you get a ticket, they bring the drinks outside and call your ticket number when ready. Park benches are a short walk away, so you can have your take away next to the lake. Indoor seating is quite limited and closely packed so prams inside will be awkward. On fine days they may open the floor to ceiling windows. Much of the outdoor seating is under large fixed awning/gazebo/brolly cover, which makes visits more viable on less perfect weather days. There is also an outdoor sink if you need wash your hands. This place is popular, so it can be difficult to get a seat on nice days. There is a big car park next to it and a lake with family oriented pedalos for hire, although the hire rarely and irregularly operates. Being in Sutton Park makes it a pleasant...

I'm with Christopher, The service I received from all the staff I dealt with has always been great, but from the "Chef" he's not very accommodating, twice I've asked if I can have certain things as I have an egg alergy, the first time I got told I can't have a full English as it's cooked where the eggs are cooked, and we don't know if the sausage has egg in, the second time he said if I have a frying pan I could cook you some bacon for a sandwich, I thought that's great at least this time I can eat, it came as strips of bacon on a plate with two dry pieces of bread and butter on the side, they said we done it like that because of cross contamination, lol well all u can say is a clean knife is all that's needed, and as for sausages containing egg, a lot of them do but you just read the label, so for that reason I won't eat there again, never had a problem with drinks apart from the price, shame really as the location if nice and they have a captive audience, they look successful so they must do something right, it's almost good, maybe my standards are to high, I'd go to buzzards Valley or...

Delicious food recommend the bacon sandwich n children's breakfast very yummy. Friendly service, very dog friendly outside to sit. Love a white hot chocolate in the winter. Lovely walks around into the woods and around the lake. We went bk in the summer - We went for breakfast this morning not long after they opened, 5 ppl we all had different variations of a bacon sandwich with different bread n crispyness and they got everyone right and all were delicious. They do a yummy latte too. We sat outside, they have got some shady areas under paracels front n back but still some sunny spots too and they are dog friendly with water bowls ( outside tap to top up the bowls). You get a number ticket when you order at the till, can't take dogs or pushchairs inside du to the limited indoor seating but all welcome outside. Lots of seating outside does get very busy, plenty of parking does get busy as well. There are lots of walking trails around on both sides of the cafe and places for the doggies to dip in the lake or down by the stream.

Friendly enough here with a professional set up supporting stopping the spread of the virus. I had a white Americano and a cookie for £3.40 The coffee was okay, but I prefer a little stronger, next time I'll try a latte with an extra shot. Quite busy, with good health and hygiene practice. The only negative was card payment only (luckily I unlocked my brand new card an hour earlier) and no prices on the tempting treats. The cookies were fairly priced at £1.10, but the cakes were rather expensive, I believe. Prices on the cakes would help as would a return to cash payments when outdoor hospitality resumes. Will go back after mid April and re-edit this review

What a well run establishment. My love and I have been twice now and both times, it’s busy, but we’ve still found seating and the food has been served quickly. Oh my word today their soup of the day was delicious and the toasted ciabatta was absolutely marvellous 🤤. Coffee is superb and their prices are really decent . The staff all welcoming and helpful. We have no hesitation in recommending Blackfoot Bistro to anyone thinking of going there for a meal or a snack. Indoor and outdoors seating available too😊 Nope I don’t own shares in the company but I do believe credit is due to the deserved. 👍🏼☺️
