I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Lime Tree pub and was blown away by the exceptional service and atmosphere provided by their amazing team. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly and welcoming staff who made me feel right at home.
What sets The Lime Tree apart from other pubs is their dedication to providing top-notch service. The team here goes above and beyond to ensure that every customer has a memorable experience. They push past any barriers to deliver magnificent service, making you feel like a valued guest at all times.
Not only is the service outstanding, but the pub itself has also undergone a stunning refurbishment that has truly elevated it to a whole new level. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and exudes a sense of sophistication. It is clear that a lot of thought and care has been put into creating a space that is both stylish and comfortable.
But the true highlight of my visit was the food. The Lime Tree is now a destination for gastronomic sensations. The menu offers a variety of dishes, each bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. I was impressed by the attention to detail in presentation and the use of fresh, quality ingredients. Every dish I tried was a true delight for the taste buds.
I must also mention the selection of drinks at The Lime Tree. Whether you're in the mood for a craft beer, a glass of wine, or a perfectly mixed cocktail, their bar staff will not disappoint. They are knowledgeable and passionate about their drinks, and are more than happy to make recommendations based on your preferences.
Overall, I cannot praise The Lime Tree and its team enough. They are truly 5 stars and deserve a special mention for their outstanding service, stunning refurbishment, and mouthwatering food. The Lime Tree is no longer just a pub, but a destination for an unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a gastronomic sensation and a great...
Read moreReally disappointed in the service.
I Had Sunday off work and decided to go out for a carvery with my best friend which is a treat for me as I don't normally get to go out for these on Sundays so decided to book with the lime tree restaurant.
I booked on Friday online and they got back to me on Saturday morning saying I could have a table but its in the bar area which at first I was a bit unsure but they said that its still set up like the restaurant and I even get table service like the restaurant.
When I arrived on Sunday I walked in and there was no sign or greeting of where to go and when me and my friend waited around nobody came to us to ask if we was ok, we had to go up to the bar area to ask what to do and they sent us in the restaurant area. When we got into the restaurant area there was still no greeting, I had to tell them that we had booked and wanted a seat. The restaurant area didn't look busy so didn't understand why we didn't get a seat in there but got sent back to the bar area to get seated and I came to realise they was only seating table of two's in the bar area and bigger families in the restaurant area which was discrimination for us.
When we got seated we just got left waiting and again had to shout someone that we wanted the carvery bit and no-one came up to us asking what drinks we wanted to start off with. When someone finally came up to us their was no smile and greeting or friendliness and just took our order and walked off but didn't ask what drinks we wanted. Me and my friend discussed to just walk out because nobody wants service like this when we are paying for their service.
So in the end had to walk out and ring for another place to go but was so disappointed and would...
Read moreA review of two halves this one as a bit of a mixed experience. We had booked for Sunday dinner and decided to use one of the tables outside - they were happy with us doing this. The first negative came in a mix up with the first round of drinks with the bar staff pouring a lager instead of cider - not a major issue but could have been easily avoided. We then ordered food - four adult meals and two children's meals - and waited. The first two plates of food arrived, the food on them was good. We then waited 10 minutes for the next two plates, which had were the children's meals. After a further 15 minutes of waiting, the final two meals had not arrived. We spoke to staff who went to find out and were told they would be with us soon. It took a further twenty minutes for the food to arrive. With a bit of promoting, they agreed to give free desserts to the children. It is worth noting that the food was very tasty but let down by the fact that none of us were able to eat together - the point of going out for dinner! It's also worth noting that we have been here before and had far better experiences. Other plus points - it has a nice play area with bouncy castles, the staff were all polite, the facilities were clean and the pricing...
