From entering with a group of 13 - 5 of which where children below the age of 7 years - before 7.30pm on a Saturday evening. In which we where the largest party in the pub at 7.00pm on a Saturday.
The children where playing (as 7 year olds do) in the extensive outdoors area as well as in the indoors - (grab machine and pool table).
There was complaints made about our children which we immediately dealt with however the landlord abruptly and rudely approached one of our party about.
Which we did not appreciate the passive aggressive type of tone. (Quite down or you’ll be kicked out etc)
On leaving the said landlord then approached us with again a passive aggressive tone as a party member defused the situation.

They had the Christmas menu at The Oak and inform that the salmon and Christmas dinner were very good, cooked well and service was good. Dinning room/conservatory needs some TLC so it is a more pleasant room to dine in, soft music and some nice lamps/pictures would give it a warmer amd more welcoming atmosphere.
