Chocstop Dessert Cafe - Nelson — Restaurant in Borough of Pendle

I'm absolutely furious with the service l recieved, I've ordered two desserts & paid good money. The delivery time was OK but what l faced went from bad to worse. I heard a knock the door, got up and on approach to front door, a large knock to the window. Two males stood outside, both desserts within hands of males. No desserts taken out of a delivery bag. One of the males was short about the time it took to answer the door. The exchange took place of both desserts. There was a further two males in the delivery vehicle. Upon the two males getting back in the vehicle there was alot of laughing between the four males. One of the males began chanting and singing something to myself and the further males began laughing, the vehicle then drove away. why are there four males on board a delivery vehicle. *deserts not presented in any bag or protection. unknown whether the goods where tampered with due to circumstances of delivery. *food hygiene!! uncovered food, multiple people in delivery vehicle amongst Covid risk. *thrown desserts in bin!!!!!! Absolutely disgusting couldn't face eating and not knowing if the desserts where fine or not. food standards would love to hear about this...

Salaam brothers and sisters of this successful business….Please don’t serve your regular customers food that has gone off!!!…real shame !.. because the waffles were fantastic , milkshakes were really good, was really looking forward to a hot desert so ordered a cornflake tart for myself…this was disgusting…I’ve had this before from chocstop in Nelson and it’s been fine.. really put me off! For life!..even made the custard taste bitter!!!..…I called the branch in Nelson to complain said they’ll offer a discount of 5% off next purchase!!..also said they made this desert fresh daily !!…I think not!… I did feel like taking this back into the shop and feeding it to the guy who served me this however not worthy of a drive back just for one desert….5% off next time cheers such a generous gesture!!..the desert went straight in bin!.. question is will there be a next time!.. and am I really bothering with...

2023 update: The place has grown extensively, now with an add on burgerstop, which burgers are absolutely astounding. We have been regulars since the initial store opening, and although the team has shrunk, its still great customer service. My sister wanted some ingredients taking out the burger she ordered, which they made custom to her. I ordered the chicken one in these photos. The vibe is lovely, and whilst we've had issues with other customers, whilst we've had kids with us, the management have always sorted it out. Family Friendly, just mention it to the till staff.

They have a broad range of cakes on display too, of various makes,...
