My Burger Bay — Restaurant in Borough of Pendle

After being told the place is good I chose to travel down from out of town to visit this place. Upto arrival I thought the person serving had quite a attitude as I was told to pay via cash which I did not have but he told me I can get it from a petrol station near by, I told him I came specificly out out town to eat there and if he could start cooking my order and I go get the cash, he said this is not allowed I said i'll give my wallet as a deposit if its a issue just to show I will be coming back but he said he cannot but was quite abrupt with how he came accri he could have been a bit more proffesional, but fair enough if thats the rules then thats the rules they must have had issues with people placing orders and not coming back. The main issue I had was after placing the order in a rush he offered some drinks he said these are the best with no mention they would cost more he also said hes giving better sauces I thought this would be as a standard thing again no mention of charging extra for these, but long story short is I paid £24 for 2 burger meals but it should have been £16!; he charged me for 2 premium drinks and gave four sauces £1 each... £8 extra total! Also to add to that I bought a meal which he did not give the other can for. After realising I paid too much I asked and he said as I have come from out of town he's giving a better service and offering better products... £8 extra for 2 drinks and sauces, aswell as not giving the drinks in the meal and selling premimum drinks at £2... even though I bought a meal; dont think that is good service, think thats scamming mate... The additional £8 was given back but not a nice service when being treated as a customer in such a way food was good but horrible service and scamming tactics which if I didnt notice I would have been way...

Burger Bay Dethroned Stacked

Stacked was known to be the best burger place in town, until Burger Bay came along.

The burgers are absolutely delicious, skin on fries and curly fries are very good as well. Deserts are spot on.

Customer service is fantastic and the gimmick is excellent. Waiting time is aprox 7 minutes if not less which is brilliant.

I would have given this place 5 ⭐️ but the menu isn't big enough. Once they add chicken on their menu then this have a very high chance of being 5 stars.

Everything is fantastic except few things which reflect on my rating. Sauces are overpriced, I'm convinced 90% of their profits come from sauces, there's no place to sit and pacha drinks not being part of menu is not so clever (you can get the same drink in Home Bargains for 59p)

I recently tried this amazing Angus smash burger and let me tell you, it was an explosion of flavour! 🍔🤤 The beef patty was cooked to perfection, juicy and tender. The cheese melted beautifully on top, adding a creamy and indulgent element. The pickles provided a nice tangy crunch that balanced out the richness of the beef and cheese.

The sesame brioche bun was soft, yet sturdy enough to hold all the deliciousness together.
