We went out for a dive to and around Pendle. It's a place I've been many times before but this is only the second time I've dined here, the first time being over twenty years ago. We went on a weekday and it was still fairly popular, with people walking the Hill and of course, the locals. The food was what I'd call fairly simple but really nice. The Staffwere extremely pleasant, polite, friendly and professional in their service and mannerisms. It was reasonably priced, if you like to drink and dine in decent establishments, rather than town centre Wetherspoons 😒. It's set in a picturesque Village, in a beautiful corner of Lancashire and if you're the outdoor type, it's definitely a place to visit in all weather's. We actually picked a beautiful evening - that incorporated an amazing Sunset, so a huge bonus and as it's coming up to the Witching Season (now being late September), the setting was perfect. A great place for exploring and The Pendle Inn is the perfect finish to the day. It's also Dog friendly, just to add (not that we have a Dog). We're definitely going back pretty soon and The Pendle Inn gets the full five stars from us 😃

Ate here, food was delicious. Couldn't fault. Piping hot from the kitchen after a little wait. Staff ever so friendly. Dogs welcome and there are treat tubs all around to help yourself to for the dogs. 6 draught ales on. Hubby had mild stout, was delicious, should of had one Instead of Coke. As we had eaten/drank there they allowed us to stay overnight in their carpark in our camper for free. Just speak with the bar staff to arrange. 2 open log fires and a conservatory and lots of tables outside for in summer. Opposite a little stream and play park for the kids. Would highly recommend and reasonable priced too

We had a selection of plates to share, which were all yummy. The sweet potato fries were some of the best I’ve had, the black pudding rounds were nice, and the Ploughman’s lunch was super fresh and tasty. We shared a chocolate sundae dessert, which had some lovely crunchy chocolate and soft brownie bits in it, which was a great textural contrast. We went the week leading up to Halloween, and in keeping with the fine tradition of the Pendle Witches, they had gone all out decorating the place, which was very fun. Highly recommended!

food review. Called in here as having range rover repaired 50m away. Nice looking pub, great parking. Walked into conservatory to dine, nice airy bright dining area.. Had to ask if they could put on air fans and open a few windows was starting to get on , on this sunny day.. ordered promptly, drinks order taken very impressive service fir the staff. Food arrived, trio of sausages with creamy spring onion mash and gravy£14.50. Partner, basically a Sunday silver side roast x3 slices, and veg on special, think £16.50.. (or close).. Food arrived promptly and placed, my partners plate was full and she was OK with the meal and dish, bit tough but she liked it, mine the trio of 3 sausages and creamy mash and some pea pod trimmings for decoration was on arrival lack lustre on appearance, both served on warm plates, always a bonus!!!!. The mash was warm to cold depending where you tucked in and withing 2 bites collared the waitress, explained and duly changed the mash within minutes.. thats good but out came a smaller potion than previously supplied.. well ate all but the pea pod trimmings so not to bad overall...6 to 7 out of 10 for my dish. A waitress came round and asked if it was OK... I honestly replied 6 to 7 out if 10 she said I'll tell them in the kitchen... explained I returned the dish due to mash being bear cold,"not good" she replied.. I agree, but why does one of two main components come out cold, sausages hot? hiw does that really happen? so when asking the customer and knowing the reply does no one actually address the issue.. yes replaced but even smaller amount.. !! paid and left.. why ask and not act on the reply????? will I call again, only two mains 2 drinks £43 .. cikd mash..manager, ask me back, back up reason you ask customers. it wasnt perfect sadly but so could have been ??? I'll be back over to collect my car not sure when... look forward...

I had booked accommodation here last month. On entering the self contained unit I was disappointed by the cleanliness!|The whole of accommodation was dusty and in need of a deep clean!|I went over to reception and told staff and they were actually really good. Two members of the team came over and looked at the unit and agreed that it was indeed under par and refunded me my stay.|Fortunately the bed and towels were clean and as I had had a 3 hour journey I decided to stay the night. I didn't put a review forward at that point as I believe that mistakes can be made and businesses should be given a chance to rectify.||The following month when travelling again for work I decided to give them another chance....how I wish I hadn't! Again I had been travelling from 3.30am , followed by a full day of meetings and all I wanted to do was to have a shower, eat my dinner and go to bed. however on my arrival I was given my key to a different unit this time and if possible this was worst! The unit smelt unclean, the carpet was stained, there was dust everywhere, the microwave was filthy and there was a very dubious looking stain on one of the cushions on the bed!|I went back to reception where they offered me a meal whilst they cleaned the room, I declined as I felt it would take certainly longer that an hour to clean. I was tired after a full day of travel and work so received a refund and made the three hour car journey back home arriving home at 11pm absolutely worn out!|I wont be giving the Pendle Inn another chance.|That said the staff are really lovely its just a shame that management are not making regular house keeping checks on the cleanliness...
