I recently had the pleasure of visiting 1832 Barista in Bacup for afternoon tea, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a cozy atmosphere that set the tone for a wonderful afternoon. The sandwiches and cakes provided were not only visually appealing but also incredibly delicious, showcasing a perfect blend of flavors and textures.
What truly stood out, however, was the impeccable service and attentiveness of the owners. They went above and beyond to ensure that every detail of our afternoon tea was perfect. Their genuine enthusiasm for creating a memorable experience was evident in the care they took to cater to our preferences and dietary requirements. Whether it was refilling our tea cups or providing marshmallows in a separate cup for our hot chocolate, they couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome.
1832 Barista isn't just a place for delectable treats; it's a haven of warmth and hospitality. The owners' dedication to creating a delightful atmosphere and their commitment to customer satisfaction truly shine through. If you're seeking a charming spot with great food and exceptional service, look no further than 1832 Barista. It's a gem that I can't wait to...
Read moreWe arrived a little early and the server said, you're 10 minutes early but you'd better sit down. The tea was brought but we had to ask for white sugar. We had 1 plate and 1 knife each to go along with a cream tea for 2. The bread on the sandwiches was a little bit hard but nonetheless delicious. We had to ask for more cutlery as we had chutney and coleslaw with the sandwiches. Then we had to ask for a clean plate and cutlery for the desserts which consisted of cakes and scones . Had a second pot of tea which was nice and hot. Then we asked for the cakes to be boxed up to take away as we were full, (the waitress told us we wouldn't eat it all ) the server shouted how many boxes do you want, I said I'm not sure as I don't know how big the box is? All in all I thought the lack of attention to detail was a bit of an issue. Wouldn't go back again as was a bit...
Read moreThere are places who try to be a jack of all trades, catering for one and all, or like 1832 Barista, you can specialise in a smaller range. This is a coffee bar, with a few cakes and freshly made sandwiches on offer. They also do it very, very well. The coffee is excellent, the cakes & sandwiches look delicious. Using Hovis or Warburton's bread, served on a folded piece of brown paper, the sandwiches are good quality and eco-friendly. The bar is well stocked with the well known & more individual brands of spirits. The couple running the place know how to treat customers well, and the prices are good. This was our first time here, it won't be our last, and at different times of the day to enjoy all this little place...
