I'm a local neighbour and on May 31st I had an overall pleasant experience at the pub, I encountered a significant issue with the parking facilities that has unfortunately overshadowed my visit. Even after appealing the fine and showing proof of my transaction at the pub, the parking charge was not revoked and they offered to pay £20 or go for further appealing against.
I understand that the pub may not directly manage the parking facilities, but this experience has been quite frustrating, specially when sending them the proof of my transaction.
I normally ensure to follow the parking regulations in the pub entering my vehicle registration number into the machine provided at the premises - which it doesn't give you a prove of recording, so it's your words vs their company system.
