Great pub and fantastic pub food ! Food is back on and the Sunday roast is epic again as before. (Sunday roasts are now 1200-1800 hrs but get there before 1700 hrs...👍🏼) I had the beef. Nice cuts (not pre cut slices but actual food meat). The food is great pub food and well worth the trip. Great friendly pub with absolutely no grief which is why I go there. Not been for a while and the food made it worth while too. Maybe I’ll be back more now. Nice clean crisp beers. Bikers meets during the week by all accounts and a free jukebox.... I’ll be back.

We did not have any food so cannot comment on that, however, from the comments I have heard from friends who are regulars here, have always said good things. The pub was quiet as it was early afternoon, but the atmosphere was still nice, with a friendly barman.

I'm going to say, I've been in England for a little over two weeks, this is the best service and fish & chips so far. The bartender was great, and I didn't feel like an outsider, most pubs in London were not as friendly. This is a solid neighborhood pub.

I was in temporary housing nearby, went with friends on Sunday but they were remodelling the kitchen so unfortunately I couldn't taste the menu. Friendly manager, welcoming who remembered me when I next went, 3 months later, now that's what I call superb customer service. It was a Friday night, to my delight, reggae music was blasting loud, had a boogie with some lovely local girls & drinks outside. The atmosphere was great fun, we weren't herded out at 11pm and I'm sure they were open longer I didn't get home before midnight ☺️great time. Only issue was I lost my glasses & last time I saw them they were with my purse on the bar, my fault for taking them off. I moved not long after, I'd happily go back alone, as a single woman felt safe and...

We ended up here hoping to find a place to watch a rugby match. They didn’t have the channel it was screening on but the amazing manager (after trying everything) was able to set us up with an iPad and we didn’t miss a minute of the game. We shared tapas which were all delicious and large portions as were the desserts. This was our last British pub experience before flying out the next day and by far our favourite. Very well priced drinks and food, super friendly staff and locals, topped off with a win...
