Me and my family were looking for a place to have Sunday roast and Google suggested me this place. We went and, as soon as we entered, we asked if we could have a table for 3. The owner looked at us and asked us if we had a booking. We didn't have a booking and the place was empty: there were no customers apart from a group of friends of the owner. The owner then said to us that they were fully booked and couldn't accommodate us. So we just left and looked for another place instead. They pride themselves of having a friendly atmosphere but I can assure you that this place is not the case!!! They clearly didn't want to serve us as we were just visiting the Isle of Sheppey and are not from the area. WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER...

Difficult to rate as only stopped for a pint after visiting Eastchurch Aviation Museum. Clearly has a captive market as slap bang in the middle of several caravan parks with basically no passing trade. Best way to rate this pub would be to visit the Dickens Inn (also in the caravan parks and defacto the nearest competitor) and compare but as had car couldn't have a second drink. Not busy on a mid wednesday afternoon only a couple of drinkers at the bar. 3.5 🌟 would be better but, no...

Lovely old fashioned pub, set out a bit but fine if you drive. Very welcoming and friendly within. Sunday Roast was delicious, veg a little hard for our liking but that's just personal preference. Delicious sundaes for pudding which we struggled to finish as they were huge! Would recommend to anyone! We would visit again if we are staying in the area again. Extremely reasonable prices.

The coppice pub do great food. Always piping hot. wich is what we want when having a roast dinner, the stuff are lovely, welcoming, and nothing is too much or hard for them very friendly and helpful, thanks very much Taylor for all you do for us and a big thanks to the rest of the hard working staff, never seems to disappoint us
