A fantastic country pub in a lovely, quiet, village location. The Fruiterers has a nice recently refurbished restaurant which serves up some pretty tasty food. Staff are all very welcoming, friendly and helpful. It has a nice beer garden for the summer and warm, cosy fires for the winter. There is normally some music playing in the background and it has a good atmosphere.
Now, under new management, The Fruiterers is now even better than ever, the pub has a proper village pub feel about it again. The beer garden is perfect for the summer with plenty of benches and it also has some pretty cool sheds/cabins you can sit in for added privacy or for a bit of shade.
Highly recommended.

The vegetables were undercooked and basically inedible and the service itself was slow and inattentive. I could understand why on what should be a busy Saturday night they only had two...
