Good deal using the taste card. The food was cooked well and was hot and tasty. The staff were very charming and helpful and genuinely wanted to make sure we enjoyed the whole experience. I had the chicken, ham, & leek pie, and my partner had the Thai yellow curry. My pie was a bit disappointing to be honest. The filling was a bit lacking even though it tasted good. My partners curry was the other extreme. Packed with lots of succulent chicken in a rich Thai curry sauce, it was delicious. I had to help her finish it so I ended up having a good helping of chicken after all. We shared a Black Forrest Dream Sundae which was very indulgent and very nice. We were asked during the meal if our food was alright, and I had honestly voiced my opinion about my pie being a bit light in filling department. Without asking, the waitress knocked a couple quid off the bill as a gesture which I thought was rather decent. I would definitely go back again as we have had several good meals, and the staff are really nice. I probably wouldn't order the pie again, but I would have the Thai curry or try some other tantalising alternatives such as; the minted lamb or steak & kidney pudding. The pub atmosphere is warm and cosy with an open fire in the winter, and has a great outside eating area for when the weather...

Visited on a Sunday for dinner. Table booked for just after 7pm. Very busy car park and the pub was very busy. No where to sit whilst waiting for the table, and standing by the bar was difficult as lots of staff passing with hot food. Ordered food at around 7.20pm, 5 roast dinners from hhe Sunday Roast menu. We were told that there would be about a 20 minute wait as the kitchen was very busy. At 8.20pm we went to the bar for more drinks and to check where our food order was. Food delivered to the table at 8.35pm, by this time most of us were past being hungry and the pub had emptied quickly, so much so we were the only occupied table in our area. Food was sub par, the roast lamb was just shredded lamb, the roast gammon was like the end of the joint, and the roast pork had dried out and was tough. Half hearted 'sorry for the wait', but no explanation why it took so long. We all left quite a bit of food, Yorkshire puddings were dry, deep fried stuffing balls, watery cauliflower cheese. Quite expensive for roast dinner, and a drive out for us. Won't be going...

Gutted!

Rudely asked to leave because we'd exceeded our 2 hour slot (by 3 minutes) after spending Β£50.00 (Β£100 in real terms before government subsidy) and whilst my son was queuing to spend another Β£30 on sweets.

10 minute wait to be shown to table, 10 minutes for menues, 15 minute queue for food x 2, further 10 minutes to sort botched drinks bill, 10 minutes to clear table each time. People queing out of the door and their well advertised ordering app not working. So you can see where this is going....

Time slot never communicated at the start, and summarily dismissed in the most humiliating, loud and brash way... Out of the blue and zero warning!

"You have exceeded youre 2 hour time slot, I'm going to have to ask you to leave your table i have customers waiting for it".

Manager asked to come to table and couldn't understand why this is unacceptable? Typically blaming the pubs short comings on covid!

I left feeling robbed and really upset since they spoilt a rare but lovely night with my family. Left me feeling humiliated in front of my...

Great pub to either sit and drink or have a meal. Well worth a visit. The menu and specials are varied and cater for everyone, Inc gluten free, vegetarian and vegan. I ordered starter - halloumi fries. Main course - Salt and Pepper Tofu...both dishes were so tasty. I could not fault the quantity or quality of either. I finished with a cappuccino. This place is popular and gets very busy, wise to book in advance especially for the weekends. Mid week lunch - a number of people queuing at the doors for midday opening! . There are a good variety of menu choices including a specials board. The pub has a friendly , relaxed atmosphere. Staff are welcoming and tentative. There is an average size car park and the pub caters for disabled access. Children are also welcome. There is a good variety of alcoholic beverages to choose from. This place offers a free birthday meal for anyone agreeable to signing up for email correspondence. Certainly a place to visit, as in my own opinion The Horns Inn is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Quiet Monday lunch with friends. We had a dog with us who was made most welcome by the lovely staff 😊 a very good choice of food, good portion sizes. The Nachos were 'hot' with jalapenos, red chilies and spring onions, try not to have all 3 in one mouthful! Phew, they were very nice. We had, Hunters Chicken, Fish Pie, Chicken Italiano, and Pulled beef Chilli. All of which were very tasty. Deserts only 2 the chocolate brownie fudge sundae and apple pie with non dairy ice cream. Our waitress was very helpful indeed which made the meal more enjoyable, we felt welcome, relaxed and Wilson of the #morecambewieners certainly recommends The Horns as he was given cuddles galore and, as he was a puppy, allowed to sleep on a comfy chair. Thank you The Horns we all enjoyed our Monday lunchtime with you. πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ€—
