AMAZING PLACE TO VISIT

The Puddled Duck has just been discovered by us and after a recent visit I just had to write a review.

This Establishment is just lovely, situated amongst an array of well kept immaculate homes in the Sunset Caravan Park over Wyre. The Puddled Ducks swimming gracefully in the little pond nearby the restaurant and bars is delightful. From the moment we entered the door we were warmly greeted by the loveliest smile from a young lady named Katie, the sweetest little helper I have ever come across, she made us feel really welcome. We were shown all the areas where we could choose to sit, it really is unexpectedly spacious. Katie recommended the more suitable areas for us to sit as she took in the fact that two of us were less able walkers and we were brought menus immediately.

The food was amazing, beautifully presented, home made, delicious and hot. The service is excellent, from everyone, and we were already planning our next visit.

The atmostphere is so warm and friendly and the establishment is well kept, very clean, modern and tidy, I felt so comfortable and happy to be there I felt I was on holiday too.

Highly recommended place to go and well worth a trip out wherever you live.

The food was OK, well presented and plentiful. But there were several flies around the table, which kept trying to land on the food and needed constant wafting away. The worst thing, though, was the incredible noise and disturbance created by several uncontrolled children who were being allowed to literally run at full speed around the dining area, jump on and off the seating and constantly scream at the top of their voices, all either ignored by their parents or actively encouraged by them. Now, you do expect some children to be present at an establishment located near a holiday park. And you expect children to be lively and a bit loud. But this was extreme and constant. You couldn't hear yourself think or hold a conversation and they even drowned out the over-loud music. The staff appeared to find all this very amusing and seemed to have no concern about the absolute lack of concern for other customers. The management need to think of the hazards presented to staff and children by condoning them running about where people are carrying hot food and...

We had Sunday lunch there this past week! What a kewl place with excellent staff! We had a female bartender with funky hair who was super sweet and very attentive… and the young lady working the same shift serving our food was absolutely amazing! She kept checking o make sure we were okay and didn’t need anything!

Sunday lunch was really good and ample food, the cauliflower cheese 3£ add on, was absolutely delicious!

We would def return again!
