Absolutely fantastic 🤩 Hired here for my Daughters baby shower … the atmosphere was great & the staff are so accommodating nothing was too much trouble. The food was smashing & plenty for everyone. They were so friendly towards all the children & they even had some toys & colouring pencils & paper. I can definitely recommend The Mallard 💯 . Love this place. Great for a pint when walk the dog. Dog friendly at little area near bar and outside. Do a little food egg sandwiches and cakes but be warned make need to wait as always rushed off their feet (really need to employ an extra pair of hands each weekend as it's always the same). Most of the staff are lovely. Wish they had Stella on but (just like everywhere nowadays), it's Madri. Have Cruzcampo too. Fairly priced. Lovely atmosphere. Lovely walk next door...

Disappointed. Not heard of ‘Afternoon Tea’ meaning Stockwell tea bags and instant coffee! Sandwiches were OK. Sausage rolls were lovely. Scotch egg and pork pie standard supermarket. Scones were tasteless and ultimately inedible. Cakes OK. Looks good for the camera, but flawed by cutting corners on the essential elements of afternoon TEA!! That is, a scone that tastes of something and a nice pot of quality tea.

Serve a pot of tea and real coffee....
