⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Booked a table here for 15 of us for my Mrs 40th. Everything was absolutely SUPERB. No problem with one of our party popping in a couple of hours before to decorate our table(s). The place is spotlessly clean, the staff were excellent and the food was of the highest quality. The starters (Mixed Kebab, Meat Samosas, Masala Fish) were excellent, and the mains were well worth the wait. We all ordered different dishes (Pathia, Biryani, Keema Bhuna, Tikka Masala, Tikka & Garlic Balti and a couple of kids meals), all were outstanding, Apologised for our wait when we were settling the bill, Honestly no need to. It was busier than anticipated by their own admission, but we were in no rush at all. "YOU CAN'T RUSH QUALITY" bring your own alcohol or just pop next door to the Burnt Bear and get your drinks there to take into the restaurant. A superb evening, in a superb restaurant, eating superb food. I'm glad it's on my doorstep.... An excellent addition to the village. We will be back. Thank you for an excellent evening, keep up the fantastic work 👏👏(I usually take photos of the food, but I left my...
Read moreLast night we came down for a curry and ate in. We have had takeaways aswell before which have always been good. I just wanted to put a quick rewiew on as even though we enjoyed our meal it was definitely not to the same standard and if people don't advise you, nothing can change. Most importantly I want to say I am not complaining its just general feed back. The starter was chicken pakora and chicken on puri. Not so warm when served and pakora where very soft and soggy. Main course was chicken masala and a chicken kahyri. (Sorry spelt wrong) Both of those dishes where very dry and not so much sauce like normal. I always go for the kahyri as I like lots of flavours. We then ordered a garlic bread and this was very doughy more like pizza than nann. Please don't think I am complaining and I am definitely still will be eating with you and getting takeaways but a little bit of healthy criticism is all I want to say so they you can make future improvements. I would also like to say your staff are fantastic and never...
Read moreMan. Things are getting serious when I say this: I need to move to Haworth.
This is only a quick review (as this is my business account), but Kiyan's - wow. WOWSERS!
From the super professional service over the phone, to the incredibly congenial owner, I was blown away from the start by the restaurant's decor.
But seriously. The chicken korma. Ouch. Really. WOW. Absolutely insanely delicious. Just the right levels of cream, sweetness, and coconut.
With 20+ years as a professional in the food review business, that's easily in my top three Kormas of all time. Absolutely crazy delicious.
So that's it. Haworth is so far away from Sheffield. But whenever I have a korma, Kiyan's, I'll be thinking of you (and sobbing into my pilau rice).
Five very well deserved...
