Popped up to have lunch on a weekday. Too long waiting time - up to 30 minutes for a pre-cooked jacket potato. Had to take it away in the end as I was rushed to go back to work. Not great customer service. When I explained that my lunch break was ending and I wanted to leave and asked for a refund, the lady at the bar insisted I wait 2 more minutes - which ended up being 10. We went to the Malt Shovel for lunch on Monday as it was my husbands birthday. It was very quiet but we expected that, what we didnt expect that all food had 50% off!! We ordered the sharing platter & cheesy chips with sweet chilli sauce & chicken strips. The food was fantastic, tasty & hot & we struggled to eat everything. It was fantastic value for money & we will definitely go back as its at the end...

Always friendly and welcoming staff. The food is excellent. We have enjoyed the pizzas here and more recently the small plates roast dinner and bangers and mash.
