Starbucks Coffee — Restaurant in Braintree

Did not have a good experience today. The Barista seemed very uninterested and actually come across as quite rude. I asked for a caramel latte, I was given a caramel mac. I asked for a caramel latte but was told that I was wrong. I knew that I was correct as I know for a caramel latte the shots will be put in first at the bottom of the cup with the milk on top. My coffee had the milk put in first and then the shots sitting on top which is a caramel mac.

Furthermore, I am pretty sure I was given cows milk after asking for oat milk. I know what oat milk tastes like as I get it all the time at different Starbucks and I can tell the difference between cows milk and oat. Very dangerous if I had a condition.

Realizing my drink would not be changed, I then asked for it to be a bit sweeter with a few more pumps of caramel to replicate the sweetness of a caramel latte. The Barista sighed in frustration, took my drink and proceeded to frustratingly put about 5 -7 pumps of caramel in which now left my drink extremely distasteful. I get the feeling that this was done on purpose (to make my drink distasteful) as the barista felt annoyed that I questioned the drink. I simply wanted the correct drink that I had paid for. the staff are always friendly and polite and it's usually not too busy so you get served quick. the restaurant is always clean and tidy and there is ample seating inside and a couple of tables outside too for days when the weather is nice. there's a good sized carpark that's shared with the gregg's next door so you don't have to walk and pricing is on par with other starbucks restaurants of the same type. overall a very pleasant experience.

the only thing of note when visiting this restaurant is that the slip road back onto the a12 is very short so you can't really get any speed up to join with traffic. this is mostly only an issue during rush hour as this section of the a12 can get very busy but it's something to...

Wanted a vanilla cream frappe with a coffee base and was given a coffee frappe with vanilla syrup.
