What a cracking night and lovely pub. 30 of us came for our Christmas do and had a brilliant time. All of the food was amazing and came out with just enough time between courses to enjoy it. If you live in Swanton Morley you are so lucky to have this pub close. After the meal some of us went to the bar which had a great atmosphere apart from one guy calling over to me calling me 'old guy'... On balance he has a point! 🤣. Brilliant night and great vibe. It's only 16 mins from home so we will be back 👍🏼🙂

Really cozy pub with a warm atmosphere and tasty food. We arrived as they were busy preparing for a pub quiz, but we were still given a very warm welcome and service was fantastic. The menu was limited due to the pub quiz but that was perfectly understandable and they had what we would have ordered in any case! We were very tempted to stay for the quiz but after a long day's walking we were a bit tired. We shall be pleased to visit again when we are next visiting Norfolk

Proper pub atmosphere with absolutely delicious food. The starch portions were a little meager so, obviously, my dad was still hungry after. Prices were more in the "dining" range rather than "pub lunch". Rugby was on in the other room so felt lively as cheers would occasionally fill the adjacent room.

Such an excellent night at Darbys this evening. Thank you.

The new owners really understand hospitality and the food, beer and environment prove this. What’s more (and a rarity nowadays) is the staff are excellent, super attentive- and happy!!

We shared a wood fired pizza as well as some things from the main menu. My husband asked if we could do half and half (as in toppings) and the pizza peeps didn’t batter an eyelid and just did it- and created a superb pizza delivered on a wooden paddle within minutes of ordering. Definitely try the Blue and Black Pizza- it’s a game changer.

Awesome atmosphere tonight in the garden listening to live music and seeing so many children running around enjoying the vast play area, and large, safe garden space from sunset to starlit wide Norfolk skies.

Cracking Norfolk village pub- can’t wait to visit again and see what else the new owners can bring...

My wife and I went here for a simple quiet anniversary meal. We sat in the garden peacefully and ate an absolutely gorgeous dinner. Proper English pub food. Fella behind the bar was so welcoming and friendly and the waitresses were super nice. It was peaceful, comfy and we had a lovely lovely time. Just what we wanted. Thank you so much. We’re really grateful you could serve us without a booking. Super grateful. Oh and my double stack burger was absolutely DELICIOUS! We’re only in Brisley and didn’t want poncy food and as we came here with family few weeks back we wanted to go again and again it was absolute brilliant. Seriously…..we super enjoyed ourselves...

Arrived for a pre-booked meal for 7 on New Year's Day at 1330. Decided to only order Main Meals. A number of menu selections were unavailable including one of the few vegetarian options, which meant our vegetarian guest was very limited in choice. Main meals then took an astonishing 53 minutes to be delivered to table! This was for really complicated dishes such as scampi and chips! The aforementioned chips were quite hard and difficult to digest. To be fair my scampi and the other guests' fish and burgers were palatable. We were offered the option of desserts, but by then we had run out of time! Not at all an enjoyable family New Year's Lunch. Most...
