Great cafe in the heart of Bishopsworth, a lifeline for the local community! Always a couple of choices of hot food available, as well as a good range of hot and cold drinks. If you make it in time for a spiced latte I highly recommend it. And their cakes are the biggest I've seen - a slice would feed a family! Everything sourced locally where possible, served by staff who are kind and courteous. The cafe / community hub is in an old church, but kept nice and warm at all times with a thermal canopy to stop the heat escaping! Also has a well sized garden for relaxing in on sunny days. Overall definitely worth the trip if you are in the area

A gem of a place. Had lunch in the garden. Totally silent except for birdsong. Lush greenery and so peaceful. Garden is decorated with the old organ pipes and there are herbs growing and a bug hotel. The food was superb (cheese sandwich, BLT, amazing carrot cake) and the staff couldn’t be more friendly and welcoming - they asked about us and we talked about the history of the old chapel. Recommended.

Really lovely community cafe. The staff were really accommodating, friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were delicious, reasonably priced and a decent selection. Would definitely recommend. Only downside is parking is on street, but we had no issue finding somewhere.

We hired Zion for our wedding in July. It was absolutely incredible. Can't recommend the place enough.

We chose to organise everything ourselves but Patrick was always available to give tips and suggestions that really helped. We decorated the space the morning of the wedding. Patrick gave us a hand with decorations, suggestions and made everyone a tea or coffee. It's a beautiful space to have an event in. The size is perfect, not too big not too small, so it creates a special atmosphere. There was enough space for people to sit at the edges of the dance floor and chat but could still be involved with everything that was going on.

There's a small garden which is perfect. We were lucky with the weather so people could move around and spend time in the garden. We had our speeches in the garden, perfect location for this. We hired caters to do a BBQ, they were able to set up in the garden.

They have a small room off the main hall which we used for a kids play room. We filled it with toys, dressing up boxes etc and left the door open so the kids could use the space when they wanted. This worked really well and the kids looked like they had a ball playing with each other.

The staff on the day were incredible, everything ran so smoothly. Numerous people that attended have told me how friendly and helpful the staff were. They left us to get on with the day but were really attentive and always on hand to ensure we were happy with how the day was going.

There were a number of gusts staying in the city centre but getting to and from the venue is easy as the 75 and 43 leave from the centre and run past Zion's front door.

In summary, couldn't recommend Zion enough. It's a beautiful space with a beautiful garden. The staff are incredible and go above and beyond to make sure you can relax and enjoy the party. And Patrick is super helpful when it comes to the organising of the event. It was such a special day and we have so many good memories of the day and i think the staff and the location played a big...

Went to watch a science show at Zion which was a great show for kids. We had an americano which was very average, with too much water to coffee extract ratio. We thought the venue itself looked tired and neglected. Sticky tables, lots of old pieces of mismatched decorations, cracked walls, plastic boxes in random places… surely staff who work there look at the place and notice a tired decor. Say this is something that is typical of many community centres. If someone took care of the decorations and general visual appeal it would make us come back for lunch. Sorry, if the judgment...
