Chrysalis Café — Restaurant in Broadland

This is a brand new enterprise which we visited today for a very nice lunch in lovely surroundings served by friendly and attentive staff. There will soon be an visitor centre there with hundreds of different insects , various visitor attractions , bee garden and gift shop to name but a few. A fantastic new place to take our grandkids so that they learn to appreciate the beauty of insects and invertebrates and to learn how essential they all are to the survival of our world. AND….we old un’s can learn a great deal too! Martin the owner has a huge knowledge of all these critters and his enthusiasm is contagious! This is a lovely little cafe with reasonably priced decent options for breakfast and an array of tasty lunch meals for both children and adults. I think it's really good with lots of colourful pictures of bugs in there but it might put some off with a nervous disposition. The range of menu is great as it offers basic staples but the chef also puts some fun specials on that so far out of 8 or so visits are always well...

Great cafe on Bug site, dog friendly, good coffee and tea, and good selection of cooked and inviting snack food. Didn't explore the mini zoo of bugs today, but it looks like an inviting place to keep children entertained whilst learning something.
