Thankfully there are a lot more places that now offer gluten free options. However, lots of these places still serve non-gluten free items, meaning there is always still a risk of cross contamination.

Its so refreshing as someone with coeliacs to be able to go somewhere and not have to worry how well trained the staff are or how strict their cross contamination rules are. Zero stress, turn up, eat some amazing food, risk free.

The potions are generous and I'd much rather go spend the same amount of money on a fresh hearty portion than a miserable supermarket sized one!

There's variety in good on offer, we've been twice and been nicely suprised by tbe different options each time (with some staples still being on the menu.)

Hugely recommend The Tasty Food Company. Popped in for lunch, mac n cheese with chilli. It was delicious. Battenburg followed which was superb, you seriously wouldn't know it was gluten free. Took a sausage roll home. I have really missed sausage rolls since having to drop gluten but this again was gorgeous. Meat is proper meat too from a butcher! Chatted to the owner Greg who seems passionate about using great ingredients and providing gluten free food that tastes delicious to both gluten and non gluten people. An excellent cafe serving a really wide range of savoury and sweet homemade food. The owner Greg has a simple premise, make the food so good that people won't know/care if it's gluten free. The sausage roll was amazing the picnic pie perfect with lovely glazed pastry and the desserts kept the kids happy too. On top of that you can grab a bacon roll, omelette and proper coffee.
