Wow - we've driven passed this fantastic restaurant/pub many many times and I can't believe that we have never been in - until today! Right from the start we were welcomed in - drinks order taken and shown to a table -we had table 19 - checked the menus and our order taken - I had the pork belly strips and they were melt in the mouth gorgeous - hubs had the steak and ale pie - we both had chips and peas "- delicious - and we didn't have to wait to long like you have to do on other restaurants - 10 out of 10 to the 2 front of house ladies plus the lady who appeared from the kitchen with plates of lovely delicious food - and to the most amazing chef A great restaurant. Good parking. Fantastic food. Good comfortable seating plan. - we'll definitely go back there It seems like a good idea to book first We did notice today that we were probably the youngest but it didn't matter because we enjoyed every moment

A pub in the countryside outside Norwich. Easy access with a big car park, you can't miss the bright pink paintwork. A good selection of Adnams beers including a very nice Southwold bitter and Aspall cider on draught. Food is served in the huge bar and pleasant conservatory. Prices are about average o ghd main menu and specials board. A good quality selection of fish deep fried of grilled, skate wing, hadfocke and scampi were all good, with decent size portions. The lemon cheesecake on the specials board was delicious. Dog friendly in the bar and conservatory with outside seating too, although there are no sunshades. Friendly and helpful bar staff.

It surprised me how nice it was on the inside. I know you shouldn't judge a book by the cover but I've driven past this place lots of times and never fancied going in. It was a lot bigger than I expected too. Nice tables and chairs, with plenty of room. Free WiFi with a complicated password written on a blackboard behind the bar. The food was OK and we were served fairly quickly.

Today was my first visit to this restaurant. We had a party of 14 ex workmates meeting up for a meal. the menu seemed ok, but a bit expensive compared to others that i had visited. I decided that a roast dinner would make a nice change, and ordered the lam alongside four other members of our party.

How disappointing the meal was. I have had better Sunday carveries at half the price. The meal was luke warm, vegetables were mixed and in separate dish, and the Yorkshire puddings came through nearly black, and rock hard on the top and chewy beneath... The meal was smothered in gravy, and soggy. There were two under cooked roast potatoes, and not crispy at all. Over all not a nice meal at all. and cost just under £10.00 i could have bought two Carvery meals for that money, with fresh vegetables, properly cooked roast meat and potatoes for the price paid . It seemed like they were packaged meals, that had been reheated. We had to ask for mint sauce and condiments, and the lady in charge seemed very austere, and a bit sharp. i was out with friends and did not like to make a fuss. Had it just been me and my partner, i would have complained. The menu meals that others had ordered, seemed very nice, the fish and Chips would have been a better bet. I am sorry but i wont be making any recommendations for future visits to your...

I was meeting a friend to celebrate a special occasion and the staff were too busy to help me and kept saying "Be with you in a minute" After waiting for 5 or 10 minutes someone tried to help me advised me that there was no booking for the party that I had named. I explained the date, time and the occasion and suddenly it came to them and they told me where the party was. It then took ages to get a drink and to order my food. When the food eventually arrived it was not what was ordered and no one seemed to be bothered about this. I was so hungry that I ate what was on the plate and really did not want to wait for what I thought had been ordered. I never received my drink and so my friend went up to the bar to buy me a drink which was really nice of him. The dessert was very pleasant, but I did not think it was reasonably priced at £4.95? On the whole I thought the service slow even though it was a Saturday afternoon and certainly would have been embarrassed if I served coffee up in dirty cups or if I had split coffee down the sides. On the whole I would not hurry back to have a meal at The Brick Kilns Pub...

FABULOUS! 👍exellent service by KAT (katrina)Teresa, & jo & chrissie, Lovely staff so helpful and cheerful. Fab home cooked really yummy food tbh i have never tasted better! It reminds me of my late grandmothers home cooking. Has to be the best in norfolk! And all at fair prices inc drinks. When on duty SARAH is without doubt the finest fish cook in the uk! 🙇 In fact an outstanding cook in everyway. .And a lovely lady! I only wish Sarah was around in the 70s when my family owned the LA BODEGA at 66, London st, norwich as we would have loved such a brilliant fish cook working in our family business. The brick kilns employ only the best! Cannot believe some negative reviews as i have been using the brick kilns for over 40 years saying food is overpriced!? 😂😂 What are they used too? Meals on wheels or asda cafe! Prices at The Brick-Kilns are VERY FAIR and meals are huge! Great value, using quality fresh local ingredients. Some critics should try running a hospitality business and see how easy it is!!! Lol 😂 my family did for 30 years, the general public can be a...
