Where to start on this beautiful hidden little gem! Having lived in the village over some 5 years ago and ever since we first visited the pub we've always found the food to be on point everytime, never a bad meal great portion sizes and excellent value for money, we now live away from the area but regularly travel back for food and drinks the staff and chef are always friendly and helpful, couldn't say a bad word against any of the staff or menu choices, highly recommended for families, dog owners or general pub goers alike. Atmosphere is nice they have curry nights, steak nights, pie nights, poker nights, fruit machine available to use a good choice of music on the juke box, lovely big sized gardens great for children and good bbqs in the summer with beer festivals. My family and I just enjoyed their delicious Sunday roast take-away. Generous portions for £9 for a standard or £7.50 for a smaller portion which suited my mum.
