My partner booked the ‘Highland Cow Experience’ for my birthday. It was the best day! Everyone is so welcoming and lovely at Lizzie’s farm. John took us on a tour of the farm, giving us his knowledge and stories from his many years of owning the farm. He took us to see all the highland cows (he has so many beautiful highlands!). This wasn’t a commercial tour where the highlands are brushed, shampooed and made to stand for tourists. The cows are left in their own environment and John knew them all individually and allowed us to get out and interact with several of the Highlands, ones he knew enjoyed human interaction. The cows he knew were more cautious were left to graze their giant fields. John answered all of our questions and the tour felt really authentic and ethical. They let one of the cows into a barn so we could brush her and she loved it! She was really relaxed and well cared for. He took us to see his flock of sheep too and we had a cake and a drink afterwards. An absolute hidden gem here in the West Midlands. Happy cows and a lovely family farm! Highly recommend

This is a lovely little place to visit. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful views. There was a delicious selection of tasty cakes which were served as very generous portions, as well as ice cream, hot and cold drinks. We were encouraged to have a stroll around the animal enclosures (no charge) where we saw goats, a donkey, chickens, cockerels, ducks and rabbits. The service here was very friendly, we were made to feel really welcome. The farm shop sells a range of homemade products such as jams, sausages, steaks, eggs, bacon & pies. You can also visit the gallery for all sorts of beautiful pottery, cards & gifts. There is a small parking area on site. The path to the animals is up some steps so unfortunately not wheelchair accessible, but the path to the tea room and shop is flat, although a little bumpy. We spent about an hour here but you could make it shorter or longer depending on time. It really is worth a visit here. We will most definitely return.

An amazing time at the Highland cow experience! So heartfelt, informative and personalised. We learnt so much and enjoyed spending time with John and Micky showing us around the farm! Was cared for Throughout the whole thing and it went above and beyond expectations. John is so passionate and knowledgeable and it shows that it all goes into the cows. Was a great way to spend a Sunday of stroking, brushing and walking the cows along with seeing the other animals and feeding a sheep a bottle! Our hearts were so full on our departure. 100% recommend. Have visited the farm a few times prior and all the staff are so friendly, Lizzie is so kind and welcoming and the food is always delicious! Will be back again soon!

How have I never known about this place in all of my 28 years of being a Mother... And of 6 children too 🤭 Well today was fantastic taking my Grandson he absolutely loved it looking at all the gorgeous animals. After we enjoyed a few nice treats and the sausages we brought home were just divine. This place is just a perfect escape, not too busy either as its only small which is perfect for a little outing. They sell lovely fresh meats, sweets, treats, eggs.. Cakes and even have a gift shop too! The buildings are stunning I love old buildings I was just fascinated at what a lovely place it was. My Grandson loved it too. Hospitality was just great we were served by a lovely mature blonde lady reminded me of Mother Christmas as she was so delightful and warm... Very kind giving me extra milk too. That is what you call service you really made our day. And to top it off I bumped into my lovely cousin and his family too... An overall fabulous afternoon. I can't wait to bring my Great nieces they're gonna LOVE IT. Thankyou I really appreciate you ❤️ Ps my favourite thing was the Lizzie's labels on everything... So much effort in your...

Today we had a brilliant Highland cow experience at Lizzie’s Farm (booking required and a charge). Farmer John made the day truly extra special, he is so passionate, welcoming, knowledgeable and was wonderfully patient with my daughters (10&12). The Highland cows are calm, clearly well cared for, and the whole encounter felt gentle and safe. We can't wait to do it again. The experience ran for two hours but those memories will stay with us forever.

There are also some goats, sheep, pigs, donkey and chickens to visit free of charge! Making it a perfect place to visit for tea and a cake. The tea room and shop delivered lovely customer service. The food was delicious; my daughter declared her sausage roll was “a trillion out of 10” and said the cake “really hits the spot.”

We really enjoyed every second. Today was a special day for us as a family and the whole farm made it extra special! Thanks
